Racing How'd You Do?

2yo Nightfight colt [color=blue]Space Chips easily won Gr. 2 Saratoga Special, his first stakes entry.

2yo filly [color=red]A Sweet Melody was 6th/11 in Gr. 2  Adirondack Stakes.

2yo homebred [color=red]Vanagloria was 10th/14 in a maiden for fillies… looks like she needs time to mature.

I made a list of Clicker Lab’s graded stakes winners, which can be viewed from my stable’s home page; looks like we’re dirt specialists much more than I thought. I’ll try to make my ponies repeat previous successes; so far two of them won the same race, Gr. 3 Discovery Handicap. GCh. The Woman In Black won this race in 2015 and NCh. Al Mundhir in 2016. This couple will be bred together next year, so I hope that their foal will be able to win it too :wink:

Nightfight had some other foals produce today as well. 

4yo lightly raced [color=blue]Night Cat got his first win under his belt in a NW1 Allowance.
5yo stallion [color=blue] ICh. Sponsored won his Open Allowance.  He’s a bit over the hill but we decided to finish out this season with him before retiring to the breeding shed.
3yo[color=green] Night Of Angles seems to be growing up a bit and got his first stake win in the Ungr. El Cajon Stakes.  He got his first win ever in his start before this.  I hope he keeps it up. :slight_smile:

We also had some other good starts today…
4yo[color=red][b] Good As Gold /b finally got a win this year in a NW3 Allowance.

2yo [color=red]Lost Wish (As You Wish) won her Open Allowance in Australia.  Her third win in 5 starts.

2yo[color=blue] Star Blast (As You Wish) finished 3rd in the Saratoga Special.  A very nice colt. Top 3 in 6 starts so far.

2016 2yo Filly Eclipse winner, [color=red]Deep Of The Night (Nightfight), has been very lightly raced this year but has managed some decent finishes including this 3rd in the G1 Ballerina Stakes.  We are hoping to pick up her schedule the rest of the year.

We had a much better day today than we’ve been having for most the year.  Don’t know if the new training schedule is working or what but we’ll see if this continues. :slight_smile: Yay!

21 out today and 16 were on the board with 3 more managing 5th place paychecks.

Today was definitely NOT one of our best days wtih 17 out and only 7 on the board… I took a lot of chances with racers in stakes, trying them out… Most did not perform.  ::)
