Really confused as to how Oath won with an SF of 18. I didn’t know that was possible. Am also very happy that Stellar Starbound, Oath’s half-brother, finished a very close second in a G3 in his racing debut.
I don’t usually pay much attention to SF but that really is low for a winner. What were the horses doing, walking???
The results page is so baffling - 9 fillies scored an 18 and 1 scored a 15. What on earth happened out there at Del Mar? 
All the scores would be based on the 18 - it calculates the leader’s SF and everyone else is based on how far back from the leader they are.
That said, I have no idea why the SF would be that low, maybe they took a grazing break in the middle of the race.
