6/6

Not a great day for us, probably because we killed the server, so it took revenge. :wink: 8 out, 3 came home with paychecks.

Wins:
[color=blue]Fly Away Home (2yo, Irish River) in a NW2.

[color=blue]Indy’s Flight (2yo, A.P. Indy) in a NW3. He’s 3 for 3. :slight_smile:

Place:
[color=red]Lost Opportunity (High Chances) in a NW1. She’s still liking the long distances, apparently.

According to the results we had a 3rd and two 4th’s I think that was all. I wish the wonky results were true would be nice to see my Danzinwiththedevil actually win again.

Terrible day. I blame the server.

I experimented some long distance with [color=red]Cathedral in 16.0f Allowance for 4yo+ (T). She didn’t hate it, but she didn’t like it either, placing 6/14.

I’m getting so frustrated with [color=red]She’s Gawne, but I’m attached to her since her mommy died in childbirth. She ran in 12.0f Maiden for 3yo+ (SC), placing 4/6. She came home with a cut as well, my stable’s first injury ever in the 6 years I’ve been playing. She likes jumping more than the flat, but I’m beginning to think that she’s just not all that athletic.

New purchase [color=green]Surak ran in 16.0f Gr. 1 Stakes for 4yo+ (SC) and placed 8/12. I bought him to be a bit of a moneymaker, but I don’t think he’s prepared to made any grade 1 type of funds.

No entries, but the server rewarded Clicker Lab with a claimer.
2yo [color=red]Chalula One joined our herd, and  finished 2nd in that race. Her dam is Ch. Captain’s Folly (S), a multiple stakes placed mare with a speed record on dirt. Her sire is a real-life stallion Rock of Gibraltar, who has 13 racers on the track, all 2yo’s. Captain’s Folly is by real-life Captain Jack; he had only 13 foals total, but he’s silver rated as a broodmare sire.

Crashed and burned in the stakes races, but did okay at the lower levels.

Highlights only:

Laird’s Own won her NW3.
Notachanceinheck won his OA.

Lonely Victor was 2nd in his SC debut.
Unconditional Love came in 3rd
Hubris came in 3rd.

Rest were off the board. Le sigh.

Bunch of my horses did pretty terribly but Fallen From Mercy, back from his freshening following a long stint Down Under, saved everyone by winning a nice allowance race in Del Mar. Finishing last was my multiple-stakes winner Super Tuesday. She’s only 4 but it looks like she’s already over the hill. Guess she’ll be retiring at the end of the year along with a couple other mares who ran today and finished off the board.
