Two nice wins
First, [color=red]Embellished won her maiden for 3yo. Apparently she’s ready to start her racing career despite her height.
[color=red]Your Chant was entered in a starter allowance, to give her something easier after difficult stakes performance. She won.
[color=red]GCh. The Woman In Black continues her new steeplechase career, but this time she finished 4th/10 in Fleur de Lis Stakes. We’ll probably go back to open allowance. She runs without a whip.
So-so day. Sent out 8 and 5 brought home checks, though three were in 4th.
[color=red]Anne Boleyn came off a two-month rest to finish 4th/6 in her NW2.
[color=green]To Alaska also came off a break and ran 4th/11 in his OA.
[color=red]On Dove’s Wings finished 4th/6 in her NW2. This was only her second start at SC, so we’re still figuring out her preferred distance.
[color=blue]Red Dog ran 2nd/6 in a NW3.
Our highlight of the day was [color=blue]Glorioso running 2nd in the Gr. I Eclipse Stakes.
Lots of ups and downs today. Pretty pleased over-all though.
WINS:
[color=red]Result Of Romance (Gunningdownromance) broke her maiden in a NW3 allowance.
[color=green]Costanza got his second win this year in the G3 Silverton Stakes. He’s a great example of a horse I didn’t want to give up on. He didn’t win a thing last year, but just won a stake and has been in stake company this year after gelding and switching to SC.
[color=blue]Bold Causeway had a great finish in his open allowance.
[color=red]Black Heartbreak (Nightfight) won the Ungraded Murphy Handicap.

No wins, but both finished second. I’m happy with that!
2YO [color=red]Singsong (x Rahy) ran 2nd in her NW1 - she has done so 5 times in 5 starts. It seems she wants to be the eternal bridesmaid.
4YO [color=red]Mango Frappe (x Sunday Silence) ran 2nd in her starter allowance. She’s been on the board 7 of 11 lifetime starts - she’s pretty consistant, at least.
After a bout of inactivity in the spring I’m happy to be sending out some horses now that they’re actually in shape again, and even happier that they’re racing well.
[color=blue]Cougar won his NW3 on the turf out of a field of 6, and his stablemate [color=blue]RunRabbitRun came in close behind finishing second in the same race.
Completely forgot I had a couple of them racing for me this week. XD
Logged in this morning and was looking at my records going “I only had 4 wins so far this year, where did number 5 come from?” Lol. I had two out yesterday, one of my 2 year olds and a leased girl who is actually the daughter of one of my mares.
[color=red]Dreaming of Gold, my 2 year old, placed a disappointing 8th out of 8. 
This was her second race, and so far, she’s come in last both times. I hope this isn’t a trend.
Now for the win!
[color=red]Mountain Squall, a lovely girl I’m leasing from Southern Cross TC, won her first race ever yesterday, an 8 furlong NW1 Allowance on dirt. I’m very happy she’s managing to do so well. 
Eeep! Accidentally hit a button and was terrified I was going to have to retype all this. Fortunately, when I hit the back button, it was all still there. YAY!
Mostly blah day.

My homebred [color=blue]Alfresco ran in a 6.0f NW3 Allowance for 2yo (T), placing 1/13! He’s such a talented young guy, I’m so proud.
[color=blue]Gallant Affair continues to pay his rent in 12.0f Allowance for 4yo+ (T), placing 2/11. If only he could perform this well in the stakes!
Sent out 10 with mixed results,6 bringing home money.

[color=blue]Pride of Hollywood-NW3 Allow - 9.5f T - [color=blue]2nd/10 , so pleased to see this guy picking up racing in a G-3 stakes and showing he can do it.
