Life has gotten crazy recently, so I’ve been casually managing my stable and mostly off the forum.

I had an amazing week this week, mostly because Black Cherry finally earned his FFCh. status by winning the Gr. 1 Eclipse Stakes. Super pleased with this colt and his sire (High Chances).

Other wins include Pride and Passion (2yo F, Bellagio); Five Stars (2yo, As You Wish); and Secret Handshake (2yo, Secret Signal).

Woo! I want a baby if she ends up awesome.

Congratulations Cat

Congrats Cat! Thats awesome!!

My day - not as good. Sent 5 stakes ponies out, came home with a 1st and a 2nd, the rest flopped. I like how my random entries ran well, and my regular stakes runners sucked  ::)

[color=blue]Your Decision (4yo, I’m Your Angel) WON the GI Stephen Foster Stakes, this was completely unexpected. This colt is very very lightly raced due to life getting in the way. This was his first ever stakes start, only his second start this year and I entered him on a whim. Glad I did!

[color=blue]War Axe (4yo, Rock of Gibralter) ran 2nd in the GI Stephen Foster Stakes behind stablemate Your Decision. This was also his first stakes start and his second start of this season. He was also entered on a complete ‘what the heck, why not?’ whim. I did not at all think these boys would run 1st/2nd!

Congratulations, Cat. That is an amazing feat. The best any of my horses have ever managed (while racing for me) is an ICh.
