Racing How'd You Do?

An EXCELLENT day for my crew!  ;D Sent out 10, 7 returned with checks (including a stakes place!).

2yo’s
[color=blue]St. Elmo’s Fire (War Chant) was 2nd/11 in his Maiden.
[color=blue]Spirit of Autumn (Lasting Spirit) ran 6th/14. He might be a late bloomer.

[color=blue]Time to Shine was 7th/13 in his NW3. After gelding him, we hope that’ll focus him just a little more.
[color=red]Blue Velvet and [color=red]Sun Godess ran 1st-3rd out of 14 in their NW3 allowance. We’re also super happy since this was Blue Velvet’s first race with us!
[color=red]Cherry Cheesecake ran 2nd/6 in her Allowance.
[color=red]Tiz a Damsel was 3rd/9 in her NW2.
[color=red]Hot Nurse made her stakes debut with us in the G3 Just A Game Breeders’ Cup and ran 3rd/14!
[color=green]Scrambled Egg ran 8th/10 in the Ungr. Cesarewitch Handicap. We’ll find him an Allowance race and shorten him back up.
[color=blue]Rocket Smoke ran 5th/10 in the G1 Belmont Stakes. It was definitely too long for him, so back to the mile-ish races!

All the Right Moves (AP Indy) was 4th.
Joey the Giant (Giant’s Causeway) was 3rd.
Steadfast Steed (Gotta Go) was 3rd.
Amazonian Spirit (Lasting Spirit) won his NW1.

Dodge the Draft was 6th, making me think her win a couple weeks ago was a fluke.  Thought she was on the verge of a comeback.
Odysseus earned his second straight win.  We think he likes his equipment, no matter what the jock says.
Forgotten Road managed a 3rd.
Long Island 88 was 7th. O Say Can You See was 6th in the same race.
Sludge was a disappointing 9th.
Highlight of the day was Maya, who earned her first stakes place in the Gr. 1 Epsom Oaks Stakes against a talented field.  Arizona Dream was 4th.

Hi All,
I am relatively new member, this is my first post in this section, I was very pleased with my stables results so I thought I’d share.

3yo [color=red]No One Like Me back to back wins. First Start for the stable on 28/5 she won her maiden, followed up today with a nice NW1 win at Belmont, hopefully she continues through her grades.
2yo Maideners [color=red]Dixie Queen and [color=blue]Leprechaun’s Gold both ran in an NW1 for 3rd and 8th respectively (of 14). I thought [color=blue]LG would do better than [color=red]DQ so that was a suprise.
2yo [color=blue]Bringdownthehammer back to back wins from his last start maiden straight to todays NW2. Won well and I have high hopes for this horse in the future.
[color=green]Dance By Moonlight and [color=red]Fresh Lady both raced in a NW3 coming 1st and 3rd respectively. I thought Fresh Lady would have his measure in this race.
She has had 3 starts for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Mare’s [color=red]Diamond Dolly and [color=red]Love Actually placed 2nd and 4th respectively in a NW3.
[color=green]Mr Heroic came 5th in his Open allowance. He is past his best but will keep trying to place him in suitable races.
3yo [color=green]Grecian Devil came a suprising 3rd in a Starters Allowance. After winning the ungraded Jennings Handicap last start (28/5), I thought he would walk in in this grade of race.

And finally stable star [color=blue]Daredevil Dan coming off a win in the ungraded Woodlawn Stakes (25/5) won the Group 1 Belmont Stakes for 3yo’s, my first Group win in Final Furlong. He is now Multi Stakes Winner, Multi Stakes Placed and Millionaire.

As I said at the start, the stable had a good day and I wanted to share.

11 Starters. 4 wins. 1 second. 3 thirds. A fourth and a fifth. (and an 8th but we won’t talk about that.)

Only one runner to note today [color=red]I’m Not Bluffing broke her maiden at the 7th attempt  :smiley: running strongly in a SA for 3yo on turf over 11.5f. Gained a speed figure as well so really pleased with her.

[color=red]Private Party - 1st in her Starter Allowance. It was her 3rd win for Clicker Lab. We took her from a claiming race at the end of March.
[color=red]Justawhirl - 1st in her NW2 Steeplechase. She came to us from Black Storm West auction and it’s her second race for us (and second win).
[color=green]Glorification - 1st in his NW2 race on dirt. He’s a free lease from KindleHope Farms and won three times for us.

[size=130]Well we sent out 13 and came back with a mixed bag, Kichiro who ran 3rd in the Preakness bombed in the Belmont which was disappointing, had some surprises and a few shocks at my fat lazy ponies! Lol

[color=blue]Endless Winter got his first win in an NW3 over 5.0f on turf.

[color=red]Laurey Williams was stretched to a super-long 15.0f on turf in an open allowance and managed to come home 4th.

[color=red]Teenage Temper ran in her first open allowance over 7.5f on dirt and came home 6th/10. She’s a finnicky three-year-old so she may just need some time off.

[color=green]Scanner Darkly ran 2nd/6 in a 7.0f NW3 on dirt.

[color=green]Silver Cross brought home another nice paycheck, running 2nd/14 in the ungraded Cab Calloway over 8.5f on dirt. He had some very tough competition, so I’m very pleased with his result! He’s having quite an impressive year so far, knock on wood.

One of a Kind (No Duplicate) finished 4th in his NW3, first time out of the winner’s circle.

Bandit’s Love (Highland Bandit) was 7th in her maiden.

Robin Goodfellow (Irish River) won his maiden. :slight_smile:

Into the Light was 3rd in his NW1.

Exultation was 3rd in her allowance.

Avenue of Stars was 8th in her allowance.
