Bit of a hit and miss day, with 7 of our 10 runners picking up a paycheck. OTB finishers were:

[color=blue]Quarren (5yo Sadlers Wells) - 1st in the Grade 1 Lockinge Stakes. A little surprised here, thought he might struggle against younger rivals.

[color=red]Flora MacDonald (4yo Point Given) - 1st in her OA after a few poor efforts.

[color=red]Bold Lilly (3yo Boldness Shows) - 1st in her NW2.

[color=red]Bound For Glory (3yo Harvard Bound) - 2nd in an NW1.

[color=blue]Free At Last (3yo Highland Wizard) - 3rd in the Irish 2000 Guineas.

[color=red]Fabulous Fairy (3yo What’s Your Point) - 3rd in a starter allowance.

2yo filly [color=red]A Sweet Melody (Octagonal), recent auction purchase, won her first race - NW1. Her stablemate [color=red]Malavida (NCh. National Post) finished 7th/10 in this race, also her first run.

3yo [color=red]Hot Gold was 2nd/6 in NW2, first time in the money this year.

2yo [color=red]Vera Cruz (NCh. Conflagration) finished 2nd/13 in a NW1, also her first time out.

3yo [color=red]Tizzy Fit finished 3rd/10 in her race - I’m very happy about that, although she’s still winless.

5yo [color=red]Ch. Embellished finished 3rd/10 in Gr. 2 Miss Preakness Stakes. Yay!

[color=green]Ch. Aguirre finished 12th/13 in Gr. 3 Westchester. Looks like he was at stakes level only as a 2yo…

Due to a lot of loss and heartbreak in real life I had not been doing much , but today I had a few ice surprises and one disappointment , but I’m trying to get back into it

[color=red]Ch. Kinda Flighty, (3yo, Major’s Flight x Kinda Sassy)[/b] in the G1 Irish One Thousand Guineas in Ireland. She earned her “Ch” title with this win. 4th consecutive year this race has been won by a Starfish horse, with Starfish horses finishing 1-2 in both of the last two years.
