I actually wonder if there is something weird going on with that. I noticed horses that haven’t raced for several years will win a race by over 10 lengths with a ridiculous speed figure, and then any races after that they just don’t run anymore. Maybe they are staying at the track training that entire time and have no energy but a crazy fitness level?
