One of our better days! Sent out 14 and 8 hit the board. Our 2yo’s flunked but hey, that’s a typical 2yo for you.
2yo’s
We successfully claimed [color=red]Brilliant Melody (Silver Charm) who ended up running 4th/6. I was originally going to ignore all 2yo’s because I don’t need more, but seeing she’s out of a gold-rated West Wind {S} mare and half to two MSW’s, and entered for a 10k tag, we thought we’d try.
[color=blue]Eteelya was 1st/6 in his NW2. He officially made back his claiming price!
[color=green]Pepper Bomb ran 4th/9 in a NW2.
[color=green]I’m Your Devil was 3rd/6 in his NW3. Gelding looks to have been the good choice for him.
[color=blue]Field of Diamonds returned from a minor injury to run 2nd/8 in a NW1.
[color=blue]Personable Joe was 1st/6 in an OA.
[color=green]Legal Strategy ran 1st/14 in his OA.
Sent out four, all three year olds. They seem to be finding their feet after a dismal year last year.
[color=red]Rebel Yell really seems to have taken to fences, gaining her 2nd win today in a NW3.
[color=blue]Ganymede and [color=blue]Peppermint Cream contested a NW3 on turf over 9f, finishing 1st and 3rd respectively.
[color=blue]Quarren also contested a NW3 on turf, this time over 7f. He came home in front to make it three from three this year.
All the ponies recent efforts have put us in the top 10 for OTB this year really hope they can keep it up.
Just the really nice highlights;
5yo [color=red]Ch. Private Party won Gr. 3 Beaugay Handicap which is her second stakes win, and first this year.
[color=blue]Click and Play, my created stallion finally starts enjoying the game, he finished 3rd/9 in NW2 Allowance for 3yo.
Nice day for us - only 2 out of the money (in stakes races, of course ).
Wins:
[color=red]Thats Not My Point (2yo, What’s Your Point) in a NW2. She’s 2 for 2.
[color=blue]Usain Bolt (Strider) in a NW3.
[color=blue]Count Rugen (As You Wish) in a NW3.
[color=red]Hidden Lake (Easy Goer) in an allowance.
[color=red]Etched In Gold (Government Secret) in the Dipper Novices. Stakes win at age 5, woo!
Places:
[color=blue]No Contest (No Duplicate) in a NW3.
[color=blue]Raven’s Glory (Magic Glory) in a NW3.
[color=blue]Well of Magick (Sadlers Wells) in an allowance.
Fourths:
[color=blue]Highland Star (Starzen) in the Withers Stakes. Not bad for his first stakes attempt.
We also came home with [color=blue]Summer Vacation, a big 2yo colt by Take Me Away out of Beach Bag. He was 5th in his claimer, but his dam was a stakes winner on the track so we’re hoping he has a bright future. We’re excited about Take Me Away as well.
Congrats to [color=blue]TakeMeToHollywood’s son Casting Couch on his first stakes win!
Congrats on Thats Not My Point’s win!
We had a bit of a mixed bag.
Alleluia was 3rd in her OA.
Amazonian Spirit was 3rd in his Gr. #. He remains up for sale.
Ask Directions won her OA against the girls. We’re going to have to try her at stakes again.
Buckets of Rain was 3rd in her NW2.

2YO [color=red]Brooke Valentine broke her maiden in a claiming race - the first of my 2YOs to do so. My createds always beat the rest at finding that finish line. I was hoping that being a created pony would help her sneak under the radar & remain with us, and I was correct, thank goodness.
3YO homebred [color=blue]Imprimis (x King David) made a switch to steeplechasing, finishing 3rd. He continues to be consistant, thank goodness. But I still can’t figure out how to get him to the winner’s circle. We’ll keep trying!
Our stakes winning mare, unfortunately, did not fair as well. [color=red]Twirlaway (x Whirlaway) ran 7th in her G3 stakes race.
