Generally not a spectacular day for us, especially since Gunningdownlight couldn’t keep his energy/fitness together and we had to scratch from the Preakness. But there was one nice surprise in our results:

MSP Ch. A Smart Choice (3yo, Candidate) was 2nd in the Sir Barton Stakes (Ungr.). Glad to see him running well again after a rocky start to the year! He also earned his Ch. title with this race, making him Hidden Oak’s first homebred to do so.
