Only sent a single 2YO out…

[color=blue]Laudri (x Point Given) fared much better in his second ever start, coming in an impressive 3rd against some tough competition.  Apparently he liked the addition of blinkers.  We’ll keep them on for his next race, then.

3 babies on the track today, and they all did great.

[color=blue]Gold Tic, our handsome son of Point Given (S), finished 2nd/13 in NW3 allowance for 2yo’s. Lost by a nose!
[color=blue]Sugarbird by GCh. My Lucky Day (S) finished 3rd/8 in NW1 for 2yo’s, which is his best result so far, but he keeps running well from the start.
[color=red]Hadriana, by NCh. The Fighting Fifty (B) is having big competition in her maidens, this time she finished 5th/14. She probably needs several months to get more tough.

And we claimed [color=red]Belle of Portugal, for her funny name - to add some Portugese blood to our Spanish lines
The claimer was her first race and she wasn’t impressive, but she’s from May and still has to grow some. Her dam was Gr. 1 level on turf, while her sire was best as a steeplechaser.

Good day, 4 out and 4 on the board

[color=blue]Northern Officer (AP Indy 2yo) improved on his debut to run 3rd in his NW1.

6yo [color=blue]Columbus continues to make money, 2nd in a claimer and still with us.

[color=red]Rebel Yell won her starter allowance. 3rd win from three starts over the sticks.

Four days after Baringa provided us with our first stakes win of the year, his paternal half-brother [color=blue]Quarren (Sadlers Wells 3yo) decided to get in on the action, coming home 1st in the Jubilee Handicap ungraded  This is his first stakes win.

Pretty good day for us - 8 out, 5 in the top two.

Wins:
[color=red]Chasingromance (Gunningdownromance) in a NW3.

[color=red]Original Copy (2yo, Lasting Spirit) in a NW3, making her 2 for 2. :slight_smile:

[color=red]A Capella (What’s Debatable), who’s on a roll this year over fences.

Places:
[color=blue]Damon Bradley (2yo, No Duplicate) in his second lifetime start.

[color=blue]Country Store (A.P. Indy) in a NW3.

Congrats to [color=blue]Gunningdownromance’s daughter Gunningdownlove on her 2nd place in the Dogwood Stakes.

Congrats to [color=blue]Ring of Fire’s son San Quentin on his 2nd place in the Jubilee Handicap.

If I was expecting something out of the 2yos, we might say we were disappointed this week. That being said, our 3yos and up did pretty darn well.

2yos
Elgin was 7th in his NW1.
Laird’s Own was 6th in her NW2.
Can’t Beat Me was beaten by almost the entire field, finishing 8th in his NW3.
Tsotsi was 6th in her NW3.
Memorial Day was 8th in her maiden.

3yos and up
Cleopatra’s Demand was 4th in her NW2. Deadly Beauty was 7th in the same race.
Higher Agenda won her OA.
Dal Riata was 3rd in her OA.
Swan Song won her OA.
Maya was 3rd in her Gr. 3.
Daytona Beach and Toast of the Town went 2-4 in their Gr. 3.
Notachanceinheck finished 2nd in his Gr. 1.
Reprise was 3rd in an ungraded stakes against the boys.
Light of Ceres was 7th in her Gr. 3. Not horribly surprised.

A decent day for us, goodies and not so goodies. We sent 6 out, came home with 7

2yos
Rasputan (Devil His Due) ran 4th in his first ever start. Happy with that

Blowing Kisses (What’s Your Point) ran 3rd. This is her 3rd start, her first 2 starts were wins so I can’t complain

Auroring Star (The Fighting Fifty) was a claimer we picked up, she ran 3rd. I liked her because of her size, she is already 17.1hh at 2!

3yo+
Anex (Almost Home) ran 3rd in a NW3 allowance. This gals nice and consistent, always on the board

Capture the Glory (Rahy) ran a disappointing 6th. Time to try new equipment or maybe steeplechase

I’m Your Eskimo (I’m Your Angel) was a very disappointing 9th… Not sure what happened, he has been on the board every single race this season and he just flopped… May be time for a break

Ace of Hearts (Highland Magic) was the highlight of the day winning the Bold Ruler Stakes. This boy is really hitting his stride as a 5yo. He is now a GCh. He has won 4 of his past 6 stakes races at varying distances and he is 5 wins away for qualifying for stud. Fingers crossed!

Pretty good day!

[color=red]Beth’s Our Choice, a 3YO Irish River filly, ran 1st/5 in an NW2 on turf.

[color=green]Polaris, a 4YO by Highland Pride, ran 2nd/6 in an open allowance SC over 8.5f in England.

[color=blue]Uncle Pennybags (by What’s Debatable)didn’t show his usual form in the Grade 3 Bold Ruler Stakes. We’ll try a few allowance starts and see if we can help him get some confidence back.

Our highlight came from 3YO [color=red]Drumline, by All Jazzed Up, who ran 2nd/8 behind Nightlit Haze in the Nassau County Breeder’s Cup. She’s finished two solid stakes places now, so hopefully she’ll fight her way into 1st one of these days!

Yay! Congrats to Nightlit Haze and Carole. Hope she keeps it up for you.

As for us we had a pretty neat day.

WINS:

[color=red]Irish Star (Irish River) won her third race in a row.

[color=red]Philis  (Foolhardy) broke her maiden in her fourth start.

[color=red]Rahy’s Lady (Rahy) has already earned back her 10k pricetag by breaking her maiden her second time out.

SHOWS:

[color=red]Raviani  (Strike It Rich) finished 3rd in her maiden race.

[color=blue]Bold Causeway  had a nice finish in the Dogwood Stakes.

[color=red]Black Star  seems to be getting her legs back and finished 3rd in the Nassau County Breeders’ Cup.  Nightfight fillies 1 and 3 in that race.

Congrats to Oakwood Farms for their win with 2yo [color=blue]Boo Radley (GCh. Go For Dash (S)), which made his dam [color=red]Kill A Mockingbird silver rated
