WINS

[color=red]Kate Kearney (2yo, Magic Cross x Irish Beauty) won her NW1, breaking her maiden in her second start.

[color=red]Khione (2yo, Nightfight x Klondike Nights) won her NW3, her second win in three starts.

[color=red]Love And Honor (2yo, Clockstopper x On My Honor) won her maiden race, her second start.

[color=red]Ch. Lady Katy (3yo, Stressed x Lady Kathleen) won the ungraded Bouwerie, her second stakes win in a row (and fourth win in a row).  This earned her her new title.

[color=blue]Ch. Laevateinn (3yo, Sleipnir x Dixie Love) won the ungraded Matt Winn Stakes, his fourth stakes win.

[color=blue]NCh. Fight The Twilight (4yo, Nightfight x Twilight Embers) was the highlight of the day, winning the G1 Pimlico Special.  This officially makes him STUD QUALIFIED!!!  He is our first homebred colt to reach this mark.  That means we now have 3 stud qualified boys (and several who are close), ready to join the ranks whenever they choose to stop running.  As for Fight The Twilight, he only seems to be getting better with age…which says a whole lot, considering he was a pretty darn good 2YO to begin with.  I expect that he will be running for quite a while past this point, but I’m glad that he’s already secured his future studhood.

PLACES

[color=blue]Scotch Highball (3yo, Witness x Highland Madonna) was second in his NW1.

[color=blue]Crucifix (3yo, Spock x Twilight Embers) finished second in his NW2.

[color=red]Demurely (3yo, Highland Magic x Grama’s Prize) finished second in her starter allowance.

[color=red]Ch. Newyorknewyork (3yo, Stressed x Uptown Girl) finished second in her OA.  After the race, we discovered a cut on her leg, which might have been to blame.

SHOWS

[color=blue]Love Never Dies (3yo, V is for Victory x Forever Gone) finished third in his NW2.

[color=red]Ch. Holy Smokes (Holy Bull x Rodeo Cowgirl) finished third in the ungraded Very One Stakes.

OFF THE BOARD

Ponte Vecchio (3yo, Unabridged x Oh So Sharp) finished 8th in the G3 William Donald Shaeffer Handicap.

Congratulations!

Congrats, Alyssa!

Congratulations Alyssa - I definitely have a lady in mind for him when he does retire.

Woop! Congrats Alyssa! Nightfight is very proud.
