Not sure why Oath performed so poorly (race was too short?) but my first 2YO runners both ran off with their races and that’s always exciting. It’s also a big deal for me because I raced their dams and the mares were nice, solid runners.

Highlights of the day were our horses finishing 1-3-4 in the G1 Kentucky Derby and good performances by some of our 2YO’s at long last. 6 of our 8 2YO runners were having their second races overall and 5 of them showed that they had definitely benefitted from their first races with 2 Wins and 3 2nds (including two races in which they finished 1-2. Our 2YO debutants, [color=blue]Invidium and [color=blue]Salazar, finished 2-3 in their race, which was extremely pleasing in that we had bought them in the Grey Stable Auction 2 days ago and they had only just joined our stable. Great training job, Myles, thanks.
On the downside was the fact that nearly half of our runners finished off the Board.
