Lots of runners today (69) but about a third of them (20) were 2YO’s and almost half of them (32) hadn’t raced in over 3 months, so the fact that we had 9 winners wasn’t bad. Our 2YO’s didn’t do very well in their debuts although the majority of them finished about mid field as opposed to last year when our 2YO’s almost always finished last and 2nd to last in their debut races. Hopefully this bunch will make a better showing one their second races.
