Another G1 winner and also had our 10th 2yo winner of the year. Our 2yo’s are much more forward this year than in previous years. Last year, we didn’t get our first 2yo winner until April 30th and we haven’t had more than one 2yo winner in April in any of the previous years we have been in existence, and, before this year, we have had a grand total of 3 April 2yo winners.

[color=red]Ch. Unknown Soldier, (3yo, Black Warrior x What’s That About) in the G1 Melair Stakes at Churchill Downs. After an average start to her racing career, she has come into her own with wins in her last 2 races. She earned her “Ch” title with this win.
[color=red]Sent to the Devil, (4yo, TakeMeToHollywood x Devil’s Own) in an OA at Gulfstream.
[color=red]Byleth, (2yo, Government Secret x Blarneystone Lane) in an NW3 at Woodbine. Half-sister to two of our most successful winners, [color=blue]N.Ch. Hogwarts and [color=blue]G.Ch. Hogsmede, she was bought in the recently completed The Grey Stables 2yo Auction. She has already started to earn back some of her high price tag.

Finally got some babies to the track! Sent 7 out, and all but one came home with a pay check.

Not a very good day.

[color=red]Ch. Embellished finished her Australian adventure with a 4th/7 place in open allowance. She can’t win this year.

Recently claimed [color=red]Wild Ways was 6th/11 which isn’t that bad for her, considering her behaviour during workouts.

WINS

[color=red]Magic Feather (4yo, Must Be Magic x Long Shot) won her NW3.  She’s undefeated since I purchased her last September as an unplaced brood prospect.

[color=red]Ch. Montalvo (4yo, Point Given x Avan Mania) won her OA, remaining undefeated for the year.

[color=green]Ch. Notmyfirstrodeo (6yo, Temptation x Rodeo Cowgirl) continues to stay strong, winning his OA and also remaining undefeated for the year.

FOURTHS

[color=red]Youthful (2yo, created) finished fourth in her maiden race, her first outing.

[color=blue]GCh. Bear Witness (4yo, Witness x Dreamweaver) finished 4th in the G2 Sandown Classic.

OFF THE BOARD

Extol (2yo, What’s Debatable x Highland Treasure) finished 7th in his NW3 after a place his first time out.
