Another great day with 1/3rd of our runners winning, including 2 more 2yo winners. Included in these was the first winner for one of our resident Stallions, Tottenham Hotspur, whose first crop are 2yo’s this year. Only 3 runners finished off the board, although one of them did earn a paycheck for finishing 5th. For the third consecutive year, a Starfish horse has won the $1.5m G1 Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Hong Kong.

Wins
Ch. Straticus, (4yo, Simply Heroic x Hashin Out A Song) in the G1 Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Hong Kong. His 3rd win in his 5 starts this year. This win took his earnings this year over the $1m mark making him the 10th Starfish horse to earn over that amount for this year. He needs 3 SW plus 1 SP to become Stud-Qualified.
Flying High, (3yo, What’s Debatable x Big Bet) in the G2 Louisville Breeders’ Cup at Churchill Downs. After a number of reasonable performances this year racing on Turf, switched her to Dirt with great effect. Her first win overall.

Yay, a 2yo winner!

Our colt Sin Infierno (by ICh. V is for Victory, out of gold ranked Easy Union) won his first maiden race, by 2 lengths! He still has a lot to grow so I hesitated, but we’ll probably race him lightly. In the same race his stablemate Me Quedo was 5th/13.

3yo Ch. Aguirre was 5th/11 in Fort Marcy Handicap on turf. He’s already a grade 1 winner, but seems to prefer dirt.

Woohoo!  Congrats on the 2yo wins for your V is for Victory get!  Very proud of Sin Infierno & Crowning Victory.
