Not a complete disaster today
Had our first 2yo winner:
[color=red]Wild Night 2yo (Nightfight x Wild Highland)won her NW1 turf. She was 3rd in her debut race as well so are very pleased with her.
[color=blue]Bitter Memory 2yo (Dixie Time x Life’s a Lemon) was third in his debut race and improving his position at the end of the race. Hopefully he will continue to do well.
[color=blue]Ch. Song of Roland 4yo (Chivalry x Coronet) was second in his first race of the year with stablemate
[color=blue]Sea Magic 4yo (Highland Wizard x Sailor Venus) in third.
[color=red]Fool on the Hill 3yo (Foolhardy x Mary Hill) continues to please with a third in the Aegon Turf Sprint.
Our other racers were pretty much also rans though there were 3 others that brought home a tiny pay cheque each.
We did okay today as well. Only 6 out and 3 were in the top 2.
WINS
2yo First Timers
[color=blue]Buckwild (Nightfight) in a NW3 allowance.
[color=red]Queen Scarlet (Long Live The King) in a maiden.
PLACES
3yo+
[color=red]Lost Wish in the G3 Baltimore Breeders’ Cup Handicap. This was her second stakes race this year. She place 4th in her last race.
That brings our 2yo total to 21-8-4-6-2-1. Pretty proud of my babies .
We are also super happy to see [color=red]Blodeuwedd by Carrowmore and [color=red]Wild Night by Nightfight (and a turfer at that!)win their races. Exciting to see [color=blue]Spaces Chips continue to do well as well!!!
One out today. [color=blue]The Last Crusade ran third in a NW3 on wet turf for 2YOs, which is an improvement on his sixth in a dirt allowance. Maybe he likes running on green…
First time a 2yo hit the board, and we had two do it!
5-0-1-3-0
2NDs
[color=blue]Defiant Ember (2yo, Beau Esprit) in his Maiden.
3RDs
[color=red]Black Orchard (2yo, Dark Continent)in her NW2. She is my first homebred 2yo of the year to hit the board.
[color=red]Last Burn (4yo, Turn n’Burn) in her NW1. Slowly figuring her out!
[color=red]Little Indy (3yo, A.P. Indy) in her NW2.
Not too much in the way of good results… Mostly because all the ponies were a bit out of shape. But one-time winner [color=blue]Go The Knuckle surprised is yesterday with a win in the Ung. Star de Naskra Stakes. Glad to see him coming into his own a little.
[color=green]The Pied Piper (4yo Gelding (created) won his 5.0f Allowance on turf, making this his 3rd win in 3 races. (he’s one of my starter horses). I’ve sent him home for a rest and will look for a Stakes race to send him to for his next outing.
