Awesome day! So excited for Miami’s stakes win in his debut at 2. We apparently have a good luck with naming colts after cities starting with M that I’ve started making sure I have at least one colt named that way from each crop :joy_cat: ex: NCh. Manhattan, GCh. Melbourne and now Miami, we also have GCh. Malabar but he’s named after a bird.

I don’t know what it is about our 2YO’s. Every year, they run last and second to last in their first races but then seem to get the hang of the game next time out. This year appears to be following this trend, although we did get a winner on the first 2YO race day. We will have three runners having their second race on Wednesday so we will be interested to see how they do then. Apart from the 2YO’s, we had good results, including one SW.
