Racing How'd You Do?

Six out - three did well, three flopped.

[color=red]Beth’s Our Choice (Irish River 3YO) got her second win in an NW2 on dirt.

[color=green]Silver Cross (Must Be Magic 5YO) isn’t quite crushing like he did last year, but he picked up a respectable 3rd in the ungraded Bob Slater Stakes for 4YO+ and earned his National Champion title.

[color=blue]Uncle Pennybags (What’s Debatable 4YO) ran a strong race in the Grade 1 Cantala Stakes in Australia, coming home 3rd and earning a decent paycheck. One step closer to fulfilling his stud requirements - this was his second G1 top 3 finish. He needs a G1 win and one more any-stakes win now. I was hoping to have them wrapped up by the end of the Australian season (early May), but that might not happen. We’ll see! He also earned his National Champion title today, too. Proud of my stakes boys. :slight_smile:

WOW! What a great day for Semiahmoo! Sent 9 out, 5 of them were winners (including 3 stakes wins!)

Alluring Girl (Highland Bandit) was our only 2yo running today. She came home with a 4th, pretty happy with that. She is still on the small side so I may send her home to grow a little more

The Duke (Sneak Peek) ran 6th in a NW1 allowance. Dont think he is liking his equipment

Careless Whisper (Alydar) WON her SC allowance. Very happy to see her perk back up after an equipment change. Time to try her in stakes again!

Alfalfa Sprouts (Cigar) was a disappointing 9th. This filly is so unpredictable. We’ll try some different equipment on her, see what happens

Fruitloop (Easy Goer) WON his SC allowance against Alfalfa Sprouts. We tried Blinkers on him for the first time, he responded well!

Anglesite  (I’m Your Angel) WON the Yankee Affair Stakes against the boys. This was a big, tough field so i’m very proud of this petite filly!

Ace Of Hearts (Highland Magic) WON the Bob Slater Stakes in a big, tough field. This is two stakes wins in a row for this boy, hopefully he keeps it up!

Run Jenny Run (What’s Your Point) WON the Asian Beau Stakes in a tough field in Australia. This makes 3 stakes wins, 4 wins in a row for this boy. He is shaping into a very VERY nice 3yo! Adena Brave ran in this same race and placed 6th.

Sent out 6, came home with 7, and bombed overall.

[color=red]Crack the Bell ran a respectable 3rd/6 in an OA.
[color=red]Artistic Tendancie was 4th/14 in her OA.

Successfully claimed [color=red]Belfast Belle, who won her race. I’m a sucker for nice, created mares and I loved her name. Plus she’s still running well and I need some money-makers!

[color=blue]Generous One-14.0f Allow,4yo+,SC - Good,[color=blue]5th this guy always manages to bring home something! Such a good boy!
[color=red]Wasn’t Me-10.5f Allow,4yo+,SC - Good,[color=red]10th this girl is getting ready for the broodmare barn, think she’s about done with racing, she was purchased as a BM prospect.
[color=red]Starlite Danzer-(starzen)6.0f Maid,2yo,Dirt - Fast,[color=red]7th first race for this girl in. Mixed company, might need some tweaks maybe turf,Full sibling to Ch.Danzin on a Star, 1/2 to Ch Danzinwithtedevil and Ch. The Chance To Dance.
[color=red]Seduce To Succeed(hope to succeed)-6.0f Maid, 2yo F, Dirt - Good,[color=red]11th this lil girls first time out she might like turf or some equipment changes.

[color=red]Mi Amore-9.5f Gr. 3 Bay Shore Stakes, 3yo+,SC - Good,[color=red]1st the highlight of the day! She not only WON, In Mixed company, but by 3 3/4 lengths!! So proud!
[color=red]Bonnie Parker-7.5f Gr. 3 Comely St,3yo F,Turf - Good,[color=red]4th considering she’s not one of my reg stakes horses she did well to finish here! :slight_smile:
[color=red]Intimate Dancer-9.5f Ungr. Yankee Affair St,3yo+,Turf - Good,[color=red]7th she isn’t a stakes horse, her stablemate below left her in the dust!
[color=red]The Chance 2 Dance-(high chances)9.5f Ungr. Yankee Affair St, 3yo+,Turf - Good,[color=red]3rd this girl keeps on making me proud.her 1/2 sister started today in a race above.
[color=green]Sunday Glory-7.5f Ungr. Bob Slater St,4yo+,Dirt - Fast,[color=green]8th this guy needed a race and he was just left behind, he didn’t even try. Odd.

[color=blue]Archaeopteryx (3yo Worth My While) broke his maiden at the third time of asking and first try on dirt in a NW2 over 9f.

[color=red]Golden Spirit (3yo Lasting Spirit) touched off by a nose in 2nd in a dirt NW2. Always tries hard.

[color=blue]Dance World (2yo Take Me Away) finished 3rd on his debut, NW1 on dirt.

[color=blue]Sionnach (2yo Giants Causeway) also 3rd on his debut, NW2 turf.

Mixed results. And no wins, but nice stakes placings.

[color=red]Ch. Melodramatic - 2nd/11 in Lady Angela Stakes for 4yo+ F/M.
[color=red]Crownette - 3rd/13 in Comely Stakes for 3yo F. [color=red]Shadow In The Dark finished 7th in this race.
2yo [color=blue]Sugarbird (My Lucky Day) finished 4th/10 on turf.
Created [color=blue]Click and Play still can’t break his maiden, he finished 9th/14 this time. We’ll give him some training.

Haven’t posted in How’d You Do for a while but had a great result on Wednesday!

[color=blue]TO DIE FOR qualified for stud with a win in the Cantala Stakes [Gr.1]. This was his 10th stakes win and his first Grade One to add to two Grade Two and seven Grade Three wins. He was a dual Eclipse nominee last year for 3YO Colt of the Year and Sprinter of the Year. Hopefully he can nab some more high grade wins this year. It’s great he’s at stud as he was the first foal of his MSW dam who died giving birth to him.

Other highlights from Wednesday include:

[color=red]TAKE ME HIGHER won the Derby Trial Gr.3.
[color=red]GUNS AND ROSES won her 2YO allowance. She is by Gunningdownromance.
[color=blue]EGOISTE won his 2YO allowance. He is by King David.
[color=red]BOMBARDIER won her 2YO allowance. She is by Foolhardy.

Ran six 2YOs and only one was out of the top three (fifth).
