3/26

Probably our best stakes outing all year.

[color=green]Legal Strategy (6yo, Highland Bandit) ran 2nd/10 in the Ungr. Caltech Handicap.
[color=red]Tiara Tango (3yo, High on Love) was 2nd/6 in her NW3.

[color=blue]Hypnotic (4yo, Must Be Magic) placed 4th/10 in the G2  Portrero Grande Breeders’ Cup Handicap.

Also-rans were two 3yo maiden fillies I’m still trying to figure out.

One mare started her Australian adventure.

5yo [color=red]Ch. Embellished finished 2nd/6 in open allowance steeplechase, remaining winless this year.

An unbelievable day with our horses winning 5 out of the 6 races at the Dubai Carnival, including finishing 1-2 in both the Dubai World Cup and UAE Derby and 1-2-3 in the Dubai Sheema Classic. They also brought home more than $10m in earnings today, pushing our total earnings this year over the $25m mark. It was interesting that all of our Dubai Carnival winners were fillies.

22(21)-6(6)-4(4)-4(4)-1(1) $11,539,000

OFF THE BOARD

Ch. Copycat finished 6th in the G2 Godolphin Mile, after we made a last minute decision to fly him out there.  Maybe we didn’t give him enough time to rest up, but it was such a close race that he earned the same speed factor as the winner.  I’m happy with that.
