3/24

Another fantastic day here, sent 6 out, all 6 in the money

Olivine (As You Wish) ran a good 3rd in his turf allowance. He has been consistent but i’m going to try some equipment, see if we can make him run just a touch faster

Stolen Gift (Foolhardy) won her dirt allowance. This is 2 wins in a row for this filly, hopefully she can keep it up! She is leased from Southern Cross TC and has already earned me her lease fee back

Bamboo Diva (Starz n’ Stripes) ran 4th in her allowance. She doesn’t seem to want to win but she is ALWAYS on the board, can’t complain about that, she is very consistent

Victorina (A.P. Indy) ran 3rd in her dirt allowance. This filly is puzzling me a bit, as a 2yo she refused to run on dirt and never placed below 2nd on turf. As a 3yo she wont run on turf but placed 3rd in this dirt allowance… Silly filly, make up your mind!

Run Jenny Run (What’s Your Point) ran 1st in the Crystal Water Handicap. This boy has a nice little win streak going on and he is the first foal out of What’s Your Point to be MSW. Super excited about his future!

Deep Blue Sea (I’m Your Angel) ran 3rd against Run Jenny Run in the Crystal Water Handicap. Super excited about this boys future as well!

I hate my iPad! It erased my post again before I got it finished!
Sent out 8 came home with 9, kind of bummed my HC, boy lost a big chunk of money because he runs hot and cold! I was hoping to eventually get him to stud but he’s so stubborn!

[color=blue]Pride of Hollywood-(takemethollywood)5.0f NW1 Allow,3yo,Dirt - Fast,[color=blue]1stthis guy continues to improve, winning the race by 2 1/4 lengths!
[color=blue]FlashOver-(ring of fire)8.5f Allow,4yo+,Dirt - Fast,[color=blue]7th this guy frustrates me he is for sale, maybe someone else can figure him out.

[color=green]Peace Accord-(man o war)6.0f Allow, 4yo+,Turf - Good,[color=green]5th this guy does what he wants at least he brought home a check. This guy is also for sale.
[color=red]Journeys End-(almost home)7.0f Claim,4yo+ F,Dirt - Fast,[color=red]5th claimed this girl for a future broodmare, she had a pretty decent record, thought she would run better than 5th.
[color=blue]Kichiro-(high chances)6.0f Gr. 1 Victoria Racing Club Stakes,3yo+,Dirt - Good,[color=blue]7th I am seriously frustrated with this guy, one race date he does well the next he bombs with style! I don’t know what to do with him! He’s had lots of rests at home, only races when he’s at A/A, I don’t know if i should keep trying, snip him, or sell! Uhg! He lost me a big entry fee!

Only one out…

Continuing her campaign in Australia, [color=red]AFTERGLOW ran 3rd in the G3 Teso Stakes.  Out of pure curiousity, I checked out the handicapping board, and it appears no one thought she could do it.  She has been having a rough time down in Australia, having faced some major opponents of various ages in mixed company, but has held her own according to speed factors.  I’m trying to bump down her competition slightly, and it appears that she appreciates it.  I am so, SO glad to have this mare start to blossom at 4.  And with her gold-rated dam retired as of this year, I am even more grateful to count her as a future broodmare at Ivy Creek, especially as she continues to rack up credentials of her own.

Nice day out - 4 wins from 10 starters. One of our 2 stakes entrants was 4th, the other was 10th. :frowning:

Wins:
No Contest (No Duplicate) in a NW1 allowance.

Usain Bolt (Strider) broke his maiden in a NW1.

Sydney Ellen (Candidate) in a NW2.

Lamia (Seattle Sorcerer) in a NW3.

Places:
Crown of Stars (War Chant) was 2nd in an allowance.

Brighid (Highland Laird) in an allowance.

Little John flopped in the Victoria Racing Club Stakes, but Etched In Gold was 4th in the Pan American Handicap.

Rotten, not going to say any more

We were getting worried with the bad luck we were having but the ponies really had a spark today!

WINS:
[color=green]I Knew I Wood, in a NW2 allowance.  I refuse to give up on this guy for some reason.
[color=green]Costanza, in a competitive endurance allowance.  This was his first race this year after being gelded and having a good lay-off.
[color=red]Shadow Play, won her second race with us in a nice sprint allowance. Nightfight filly.
[color=red]Class It Up, also won her allowance. Yay!
[color=red]Fake Number, brought it home in the G2 Outback Lady Stakes.  First stakes win for this Nightfight filly.
[color=red]Enyo, really kicked it up a notch and won the G1 Victoria Racing Club Stakes.  Also, a Nightfight filly.

And in addition to these guys we wanted to also announce that, [color=blue]Sponsored (Nightfight), won the Florida Derby and we are super stoked to have a Kentucky Derby prospect this year.

Congrats!

Only one ran, the ponies are very busy recently so everyone was tired, but we entered [color=red]Shadow In The Dark just to have at least one horse race today. She performed well, finishing 2nd/6 in open allowance for 3yo fillies.

Results were all over the place today.

Hainesport broke his maiden today in a turf NW1, very happy this guy got a win! Would be very nice if he turned out to be some sort of a nice horse. 1st/6.

Loaded Dice came home a winner in a turf OA, 1st/6.

The Falconer finished 1st/6 in a dirt NW2.
