Beautiful day! Two entries and two wins.

[color=blue]GCh. Al Mundhir won the ungraded Hurricane Bertie Handicap, getting one step closer to studification. I really hope he can make it!

3yo [color=red]Hermelinda won a claimer by 7 3/4 lengths and stays home. She really seems to like jumps. Could it be typical for Holy Bull’s offspring?

Another fabulous day with the 3yos, mostly:
(Also, it’s going to be VERY difficult to pick a Derby contender - or two! - this year…but I suppose that’s a good problem to have!)

WINS

[color=blue]Love Never Dies (3yo, V is for Victory x Forever Gone) won his NW1, breaking his maiden in his second start.  He joined us in December as an unstarted 2yo.

[color=red]Ch. Brianza (3yo, Bellagio x Sovereign Song) won her OA, because there weren’t any good stakes races for her.

[color=red]Ch. Allnighter II (3yo, All Jazzed Up x Klondike Nights) won her OA, also because there weren’t enough stakes races.

[color=blue]Russian Roulette (3yo, High Chances x Wag the Dog) won his maiden race, his first ever start.  He was a slow grower.

[color=red]Smile Awhile (3yo, Worth My While x Queen of Humor) won her NW1, earning a speed record in the process.  Her dam (who set 3 speed records of her own) is up for sale - cheap!  This race result is making me second guess that, though…

[color=red]Demurely (3yo, Highland Magic x Grama’s Prize) won her claiming race and stayed with us.

[color=red]Sweethart (3yo, Mr. Prospective x Lovingly) won her NW1, breaking her maiden.  She came to us in December as a placed 2yo.

[color=blue]Pistolwhip (3yo, Gunningdownromance x Keria Toon) won the G3 Cicada Stakes, his first stakes win.  He also set his first speed record.

[color=blue]Ch. Olympic Torch (3yo, Worth My While x Olympic Gold) won the G2 San Felipe Stakes, his second stakes win in as many starts this year.  He just earned his new title with this win.

[color=blue]GCh. Bear Witness (4yo, Witness x Dreamweaver) won the G2 Moonee Valley Gold Cup after a little break at the boarding farm.  This was his fifth stakes win, and it earned him the new title.

[color=blue]Ch. Sign of the Cross (3yo, I’m A Classic x CrossTheThreshold) won the G2 Crystal Mile, his second stakes win in as many starts this year.  He also just earned his new title.

PLACES

[color=blue]Ponte Vecchio (3yo, Unabridged x Oh So Sharp) ran second in the G3 Cicada Stakes behind stablemate Pistolwhip.

[color=blue]Ch. Laevateinn (3yo, Sleipnir x Dixie Love) ran second in the G2 San Felipe Stakes behind stablemate Olympic Torch.

[color=blue]Ch. Sportsmanship (3yo, Player x Kiasport) ran second in the G2 A.J. Moir Stakes.

SHOWS

[color=red]GCh. Coquette (4yo, Bellagio x Klondike Nights) finished third in the Marsua’s River Stakes after an extended vacation at the farm.

OFF THE BOARD

That’s All Folks (3yo, Take Me Away x Catch Phrase) was 6th in her NW3.
Charming Avenue (3yo, Silver Charm x Worth Avenue) was 6th in her starter allowance.
GCh. Ducati (4yo, Magic Cross x Pennysurprise) was 11th in the ungraded Flag Down Stakes, though the competition was pretty classy for an ungraded race.  He did just come off of an extended stay at the farm, so I’m hoping that explains his drop in performance.  I’m not ready for this boy to retire!
