Interestingly, both of our wins were with horses leased from other Stables. One of them, [color=blue]N.Ch. Fight The Twilight was sired by the recently deceased [color=blue]W.Ch. Nightfight. When Alyssa decides to retire this boy (not too soon, hopefully), I’m sure that he will carry on in his late fathers footsteps.

[color=blue]N.Ch. Fight The Twilight (Leased from Ivy Creek), (5yo, Nightfight) in the G1 Caulfield Cup. The third year in a row that this race has been won by a horse running in the Starfish colors. He is the first horse running in our colors to go over $1m in earnings for this year.
[color=blue]Triumphant Wind (Leased from Markos), (4yo, Strike It Rich) in the G3 Canadian Turf Handicap. The disappointment of the race was the performance of our other runner, [color=blue]Mobile Emitter, who won this race last year but could only finish 9th this year.

Only 3 out one winner, one second, one nowhere!
[color=red]Wild Irish Rose (Highland Laird x Raidrops on Roses)won her 5f NW1 at Aqueduct. very pleased with this mare so far. She was bought from the Clover Springs auction as a potential broodmare but needed 4 more races before she could be retired and of those 4 races she has won one and placed in two earning back more than her purchase price and taxes. So i feel it is worthwhile keeping her in training this year to see how she goes.

[color=blue]Slew o’ Rainbows (Slew o’ Scots x Rainbow’s End)was second in a 3yo Maiden also at Aqueduct.

[color=blue]Smokesignal (Doodles x Smoke Dance)was second last in the same maiden.

Good luck with her! Her 2yo brother (by What’s Your Point) will debut later this year so I’m watching the older foals with interest.
