How did everyone do? I feel like this might have been the most expensive auction we’ve had, if you count average price per horse.

Graceful Rain - 5yo mare, stakes placed as a 2yo but still doing ok this year. Will likely join the broodmare band next year. Only $1,000.
Von Helsing - Yearling colt by our stud Von Lichtenstein. Half-brother to SW Yardbird. Cost $50,000.
Martet - Yearling filly by our stud Quintet. Dam was stakes placed, only sibling to race won at ages 3, 4, and 5. Only $1,500.
Suerta Loca - 12yo broodmare. Only two foals are stakes level. In foal to Ducati. Mostly bought to have one foal due next year. Cost $75,000.
Lord Von - Yearling colt by our stud Von Lichtenstein. Dam is gold ranked, half-brother to MSW Lady Katy. Cost $15,500.
Pretty pleased with our list. Nice to have 3 whole yearlings for next year ;-), and a future 2026 foal.

Its been so long since we had one of these threads!
Decoy, yearling colt by Devil’s Walk. Dam is MSP and has produced 4 winners, including a MSW, a SW, and a SP. We’ve had great luck with Devil’s Walk foals. Bought for 5k.
Our Cinderella, weanling filly by Carrowmore. We really wanted to add more Irish River to the herd. Dam is a MSW and produced a MSW, and is also a half-sister to Daretoloveme who has produced 2/3 MSWs. Bought for 1k.
Law Abiding, yearling colt by Phenomenal. Dam is a SW and has produced a MSW. Bought for $15,500.
Sligo Bay, weanling colt by Carrowmore. Dam is platinum and has produced 5 blacktype foals from 8 starters, including 2 MSWs. By far our most expensive at $2,500,500.
Magical Toy, 4yo racemare by Edinburgh. Disregarding a terrible 2yo season, she’s hit the board 20/24 times including running 2nd in a stakes despite FF management. Dam is half to stallion Crafty Magic. Bought for 1k.
Last Opinion, 4yo race colt by Lake Highlands. Figured he probably has a good season or two in him for 1k.

Ahh Shanthi love to see you start a non-server update, bug related post! Love to see you able to enjoy your own game! Yeah that was a wild auction. I really wanted another stud but couldn’t justify the price lol I think the budget adjustment definitely fueled the spending frenzy.
I haven’t had time to name my new foalies, but here we go:

I like to grab horses from FF that are out of my studs so I can contribute to improving their rating if possible. I think she might have a few more stakes placings if possible, and then she’ll be a good broodmare. Her grand-dam is also dam to Runny Jenny Run, who was also in the auction.
Eager Fiesta, a steal at $1,000
We own a very nice mare out of Martini Rossi, so I figured we’ll take a chance on him for at least a year.
Unnamed (AndLikeThatHesGone x One Hot Mess), another steal at $1,000
Picked this one up because we sold the broodmare, and then she had a MSW. I figured since we didn’t a foal from her anymore it would be nice to try this one out.

Aw, thanks! It’s been really nice to enjoy working on the game again because I can redesign features. And then that makes me want to use the features. 
Slight shame all my racehorses are ancient, but oh well. They’re doing surprisingly well given their age / lack of attention.

I had an agreement with myself to not go over 100k for a horse because there’s many in my stable that can use some extra attention. Ended up going up to 500k before bowing for my top pick (Good luck with the Debatable Issue colt Willa!). Went home with just three for a change!
Never Miss A Beat, a yearling filly out of Bold Melody (S) and by Frankel. Didn’t have a racehorse with Bold Ruler in their lines, so now I do as soon as she’s of age, lol. There was another reason I was interesed in her, but I already can’t recall, so we’ll just see how she runs. $50,500.
Little Miss Gunner, 2017 broodmare. Only one foal on the ground, but he’s a SW we own who’s hit the board 14/18 races. Looking forward to seeing a few more of her foals hit the track. $20,500.
Mastaba, weanling filly out of GCh. Desert Mirage, by NCh. Carrowmore. Dam was a powerhouse on the track, but only has one foal who’s not owned by FF so we’ll have to see if her talents are passed down to her foals or not. 1k.

Capricious Heart - Thunder Snow x Confused Forest by Dark Demand. 4yo SP. Her dam was MSW on the turf and maternal granddam was MSW on the dirt. The plan is to race her next year and get a couple SW under her belt,
Darq Authentic - Authentic x Darq Queen by The Black. Yearling colt. I think a lot of Authentic and can’t wait to see what this boy does next year as a 2yo.
