We suffered a major loss last night with the retirement of French Resistance and the loss of her 2028 filly. We acquired French Resistance 13 years ago and while she didn’t do much on the track, as a broodmare she really shone. From 10 live foals, she has produced 5 SWs–of which 3 are MSW, and 7 of her 8 started foals are blacktype. Her first daughter, Ch. French Revolution, has already produced a MSW and SW from 3 started foals. Of French Resistance’s 10 foals we own 5: GCh. Marseillaise (whose first foal is now 3, and was a 2yo debut winner), Ch. Ember Hue, Ch. Versailles, her 2yo French Connection, and her yearling Bonaparte. She was half to stallion NCh. Franco Classico.
