Picked up a total of 4 for $25,000. Not too shabby!

[ICh. Highland Magic (G) x GCh. Carnegie Cat]
This 2yo filly was my most expensive purchase at $17,000. Unfortunately i’m not a big fan of her name, but I am a big fan of her pedigree! Highland Magic has produced some fantastic racers with an average earning of almost $570,000… Not too shabby! His stud fee alone makes this filly worth her purchase price . Her dam, Carnegie Cat, is out of created bloodlines but she had a pretty fantastic racing career. Bea Godsall will be her first foal to hit the track.

[FFCh. High Chances (S) x Ch. Angel of Whimsy]
This 2yo colt was purchased for $7000. He is out of High Chances who has 2 generations of foals running, both of which are doing very well. Inclination’s dam is out of created bloodlines but was a SW and had a decent racing career. Here’s hoping Little Inclination follows his sire’s lead!

[NCh. Secretary (S) x Admiral’s Girl (S)]
This gal was a bit of a last minute, instinct purchase for a tiny $1000. Her sire has produced some very nice runners and he is now retired so I am happy to have been able to get some of his lineage into my stable. Bluebook’s dam is unraced but has produced some nice, consistent foals. Bluebook is 1/2 to SP Validator.
[color=Blue]American Promise
finalfurlong.org/viewhorse.php?horse=16820
[WCh. King David (S) x Easy River (S)]
This colt was also an instinct purchase for $1000. King David has produced some solid foals, though they appear to be later bloomers so I may have to be patient to see American Promise’s full potential! American’s dam wasn’t the best runner but she too has produced some nice foals including MSW Ch. Patriarch
