Cricket Hill is proud to offer the following stallions at stud.
FFCh. High Chances (GCh. Highland Laird x Second Chance)
77(63) 34(29)-14(14)-14(10)-7(6) $8,337,500
Distance Preference: Sprinter
Surface Preference: Turf/Dirt
[color=red]Stud Fee: $15,000
This large bay stallion has left his mark on Final Furlong’s racing history. A talented sprinter on both turf and dirt, he racked up a whopping 29 stakes wins over the course of his five-year racing career. No other horse, aside from the extremely talented FFCh. Can’t Catch Me, has ever won more. He’s still #1 in number of points earned. He earned the Eclipse Award for Sprinter of the Year in 2008, 2009, and 2010. In 2010 he also won Older Horse of the Year, and was a serious contender for Horse of the Year. A late bloomer, High Chances ran extraordinarily well as a 5yo and 6yo winning 12 and 11 stakes wins in those years, respectively. He raced against such notable names as: FFCh. Can’t Catch Me, FFCh. Foolhardy, WCh. As You Wish, WCh. Nightfight, WCh. I’m Your Angel, WCh. Double Cross, WCh. Crystal Rainbow, WCh. Dreamboat, ICh. What’s Your Point, ICh. Take Me Away, etc.
This year his first crop will hit the track, and his fee will adjust accordingly. This will be the last year he will be offered at this low price.

ICh. Dark Continent (Land Ho x Dark Victory)
70(57) 14(11)-11(10)-13(11)-10(9) $3,054,500
Distance Preference: Classic
Surface Preference: Turf
[color=red]Stud Fee: $6,000
Dark Continent is the only son of Land Ho, now retired from breeding, currently standing at stud in the 2014 season. Unrelated to either Highland Rogue or What’s It Worth, makes him a perfect outcross for someone looking for something a little different this breeding season. Dark Continent has, for the most part, flown under the radar. Rather than specializing on one type of surface or type of distance, he has won stakes from 6 furlongs through 11 furlongs and has been raced almost equally on both turf and dirt (though he does show a propensity for the grass). He reached maturity early, running competitively in stakes races as early as February of his 3yo year. A good alternative for those looking for new blood and a horse that will run, regardless of what you throw at him.

ICh. Long Live the King (Bold Ruler x Infinity)
63(45) 16(11)-14(12)-7(5)-6(5) $1,834,000
Distance Preference: Sprint/Classic
Surface Preference: Turf/SC
[color=red]Stud Fee: $6,000
We’re super excited to be introducing this son of Bold Ruler, now retired. Long Live the King has won stakes on both turf and over jumps as well as in all three categories of distance–sprints, classic and endurance. He earned his first stakes win as a 3yo and has continued to be competitive in stakes races in his 4yo and 5yo seasons. This boy isn’t just a flash in the pan. Again, lacking any Worth or Rogue lines in his pedigree, Long Live the King makes a great out-cross for those looking for a little diversity in their herd. He’s run equally well on turf as well over jumps, giving any mare owner the added security that his foals will have potential over the sticks, should they ever choose to switch.
