2/27

Those we thought would do well flunked, and those we thought would flunk brought home some manner of money. Just one of those days.

[color=blue]Candied Roses was 1st/6 in a 25k claimer and stays home; stablemate [color=blue]Bandwagon was 3rd and also stays home.

[color=blue]Rock Stardom ran 3rd/12 in his OA.

Meh. Only 4 out, best finish was a 4th.

My birthday! But no win ::) two fillies ran, races were crowded and very competitive so I can’t blame them.

3yo [color=red]Athykea (recent claim) finished 7th/14 in her maiden.

4yo [color=red]Ch. Crownette was 3rd/14 in allowance for mares. Both had the same speed figure, 140.

[color=blue]Falcon Scott was the only one out today, finishing second in his allowance.

A Wow!!! day, 11 runners, 5 wins (all in Stakes races, including 2 G1W), only 1 out of the first 4 (5th, so even that one brought home some money). Total purse money earned today a massive $1,221,500.
