Well there look like some
good races will be run tomorrow…
Buena Vista Handicap
1st:
Clendon Park
2nd: A.P. Diamond
3rd: Art Of Magic
Clendon Park is looking like the
strongest mare over the fences so far this year. She’s won two stakes, beating every horse
in this field. So she looks like she should take this one out. A.P. Diamond also has a
fantastic record for the year and she looks like a strong contender for this one with some
close finishes behind Clendon. Third place I’ll allocate to Art Of Magic. She looks strong
with a stakes win three starts back and she has beaten Clendon home this year. Danger?
American Rhapsody, but her form isn’t as good as it was last year.
Las
Flores Handicap
1st: Dreamboat
2nd: Barchetta
3rd: On My Honor
Dreamboat
looks the goods for this one. She’s got an impeccable record for the year and has beaten
most of the field. She should have this one I think. Barchetta is my pick for second. Not the
greatest record this year, but she has performed really well against the boys, however, her
last start fifth behind Dreamboat left a little question mark above her. On My Honor is also
going well this year and she did finish second to Dreamboat last start and I expect her to
give a good showing. Dangers? All the three Final Furlong girls. They’re having their first
starts for the year so I’m not sure how they’ll go in this…
Craven
Plate
1st: Secretsarebound
2nd: Revolution
3rd: Wheel Of
Fortune
Secretsarebound is the only horse in the field with a win this year, and one of
only three to actually have raced. He’s been very competitive and looks to have this field
pretty well covered. Revolution looks to be the main danger for the win with a third in the
GI Underwood Stakes last start. Look for him to be running strongly. He’s definately good
enough to beat this field. Wheel Of Fortune is my pick for third. He has a stakes third three
starts back, and a good allowance win over 9F last start. Dangers? The Final Furlong girls.
But really, no starts this year and competing against the boys doesn’t give them many
advantages.
Rose of Kingston Stakes
1st: Celtic Glory
2nd:
Heartache
3rd: What’s Your Dream
Celtic Glory won a stakes two starts back against some
of the best mares in the game. She went on to win a turf race and looks good for this.
Heartache looks good also with a strong second behind Highland Grace two starts back. I’m
going with What’s Your Dream for third. She was third two starts back against the girls,
then hated the wet track last start so I guess we can forgive that run. She could win this
one. Dangers? Bold Lady is running awesome this year. Wild Bidder is twice stakes placed this
year. First And Only is another of those Final Furlong girls having her first
start…
Baguette Stakes
1st: High Chances
2nd: A.P.
Exectutive
3rd: Believe In Me
High Chances… Can’t go past him. He’s three from three
this year and he’s taken down all the best sprinters and grabbed a second GI along the way.
He should win this. A.P. Exectutive is my pick for second. He is unbeaten on dirt this year,
both races being sprints. He should give this a really good go and is High Chances main
danger. Third spot goes to Believe In Me I think. He had a great run last start to win the
GII Shannon Stakes so he’ll be ready for this one. Dangers? None for the win, but minor
placings… No Comment enjoys dirt sprints. Everclear won his dirt allowance sprint well last
start.
