2/11

Mostly bleh. So, shipping almost all of them home.

Highlight was Queen of Sheba’s SW in Australia. That was kind of awesome.

Wow!! More days like today, please. Even our stakes entry did well!  :astonished:

[color=blue]Well of Magick (Sadler’s Wells) in a maiden.

[color=blue]Must Be Silver (Must Be Magic) in a maiden.

Only had runners at the lower levels but everyone bought home a paycheck

Recent claim [color=red]Sleep Easy won her NW1  making her winner, placed from two starts.

[color=red]Golden Spirit ran 2nd in her NW1, with [color=red]Miss Crab Apple 5th in the same race.

[color=red]I’m Not Bluffing came 5th in her SC NW2. Might be time for a rest for her.

[color=blue]Mission Possible was a very close 5th in his NW3 - seems to like following the girls home  ::)

Well sent out 7 and only two came home without any money, just wish they were  higher payouts.

[color=blue]Highland Velvet-5.0f NW3 Allow,3yo+,Dirt - Slow, [color=blue]1st this is his second race as a 3yo he was just off the board last time, unfortunately I think he likes mud!
[color=red]On The Catwalk-8.5f Allow,4yo+,Dirt - Slow,[color=red]3rd she was in second until 6f , where she fell back to 3rd.
[color=green]Fortunate Son-11.5f Allow,4yo+,Dirt - Slow,[color=green]3rd always one of my more consistent horses a nice run

[color=green]Franklin -7.5f NW1 Allow,3yo,Turf - Good ,[color=green]8th don’t know what to do with this guy, I already gelded him, claimers next , I won’t get the price he cost me at auction.

Another good day touches wood for the rest of the year

[color=red]Holiday Joy found her hooves today. 1st in a 10f SC NW2. She’ll not be going to the breeding shed just yet.

Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the stable floor
[color=blue]New Rule San Antonio Handicap (G2) 8 Furlongs 1st.

I thought it was too long a race for him, I expected to come back empty pocketed. And he won…

Wow

Congratulations

Thanks, its not my first Stakes win but it’s the first high grade one, for a horse with real prospects.

Congrats, good luck with New Rule!

Very happy about most of them. We didn’t try our luck in the stakes today, because we keep breeding and shipping, so I need to be careful
First of all, [color=red]Ch. Private Party finished 1st/14 in an open allowance on dirt. She ran without a whip.
[color=red]Shadow In The Dark finished 1st/6, while five stallions were admiring her pretty light grey tail.
[color=red]Jorghinia proved that she doesn’t want to leave Clicker Lab, with a third win in a row (the other two were in claiming races). She finished 1st/13 in an open allowance on turf.
Then we had a long endurance race, 16 furlongs open allowance for fillies and mares, on turf. [color=red]Golden Moon finished 2nd/6 and [color=red]Ch. Love Signal was 3rd.
Our created mare [color=red]My Madelline made a good effort in NW3 allowance for older ponies, where she finished 3rd/6.
Only [color=red]Alchaasibiyeh was disappointing, finishing 6th/10. She will be running in claimers until she makes money again, or somebody takes her away :stuck_out_tongue:

Overall a good day. Disappointed in my stakes pony and that I didn’t get the $5000 claim that I put in but good luck to whoever picked him up.

Anex (Almost Home) ran 2nd in a 3yo maiden. Can’t get this filly to break her maiden but she likes to run second!

Rose Of Portland (Moonopoly) did poorly running 9th in a maiden. Think its time to try steeplechase, thats what her dam excelled at.

Daydreamer (Gimme A Shot) ran a solid 2nd/13 in a NW1 allowance. I tried some new equipment on him, he seemed to like the change.

Diamonds In Air (The Black) ran 4/13 in the same race as Daydreamer. Going to start fiddling with equipment and see if we can make him run a touch faster.

Trippi Bree (Crystal Rainbow) ran 3rd in a NW3 allowance. She is reliably in the money, can’t ask for much more.

Olivine (As You Wish) ran 3rd in a NW3 turf allowance. This guy has (so far) ran a good 3yo year, hopefully he can keepit up.

Kew Garden (Rahy) ran 2nd/14 in a NW3 dirt allowance. I’m really impressed with this filly’s performance since I purchased her and switched her to dirt. May try her in a stakes over the next few months.

Alfalfa Sprouts (Cigar) ran 5th/14 in a dirt allowance. This filly is so unpredictable, drives me nuts! 5th one weekk, 1st the next, now 5th again. Silly Fillies!

Starting Point and Burn It Down (Both out of What’s Your Point) ran 1st and 2nd respectively in an open turf allowance. Super excited about both these boys and seeing what the future holds for them!

Deep Blue Sea (I’m Your Angel) disappointed me running 8th in the San Antonio Handicap. Going to send him home for some rest.

11(1)-1-4-2-1 $51,550

Seems to be the trend the past couple of race days, mixed results again.

Corporate Card finished a good 2nd/8 in a dirt NW3. Stablemate Starsfallonalabama was right behind her in third.

Dreadpirateroberts finished a very nice 2nd/14 in a dirt OA. He has a beautiful pedigree, would be nice if he continued to perk up and maybe go somewhere as a 4yo.

Clicker Is Quicker finished a very nice 3rd/14 in the G2 San Marcos.

Sword of Honor made his second start for us today and it was a winning one. He stole the race on the front end in a dirt nw3. 1st/6.

Only 2 horses seemed rested & ready for today’s races:

3YO [color=red]SHOOTFORTHESTARS, from a created sire (due to lost pedigree info in the database) out of a champion-rated mare has yet to find her stride, finishing 5th/13 in her NW1.  Even though she is 3, this was only her second ever start, so she has plenty of room to learn & improve.

4YO [color=red]AFTERGLOW (x Affirmed) is becoming quite the stable star.  She is undefeated in all 3 starts of 2016 so far, one of those being a stakes race.  And judging by her half siblings, she ought to be able to handle quite a lot more.  She is recovering energy like no one’s business, having just run on the 4th and already being at A energy long before entries were due for today, the 11th.  As a result, we have shipped her back to the farm since she was so nearby, so that we can send her on a bigger campaign farther from home on her next outing.  She will be aiming for more stakes races.

In addition, we also made what we hope is the claim of a lifetime: for a mere $5,000, the 3YO colt, [color=blue]WIN ZENITH, by the up-and-coming sire GOTTA GO, and out of the gold-rated mare, DARK MISS, making him 1/2 to CARROWMORE, amongst other MSWs.  Though he only came in 3rd/6 today, this was his first start.  I am super excited to see what he becomes.

Congrats! He’s one of my first two creates, good to see him running well

Congrats! We tried for him too.

Yup, we tried for Win Zenith as well. Good luck with him!

Thanks! He’s a fun horse to have, really loves to win! His from fell apart for a bit last year but he’s back it seems, he won the San Marcos in his previous start!

KindleHope’s racing string has started off a pretty miserable year – nothing really notable.
Cross My Path (Magic Cross) and Nothing to Say (No Duplicate) pulled shows in their maidens. Everyone else was off the board.

Congrats on Win Zenith. I tried for him as well – An excellent claim (I’m not biased or anything… :stuck_out_tongue:)! And, little shout-outs of congrats to One of a Kind, Must Be Silver and Corporate Card!

Wow.
I knew I was lucky to get him - I figured that someone else had surely seen him & tried for him…but since it appears that nearly everyone went after him, I feel even more grateful.  I hope I can do him justice.
