12/21

Wooohooo!!!

I and a pretty nice stakes win today with my mare Peekundercovers (4 yo Sneak Peek x Morning Deelights)
1/10 in the G1 Dreamskipper Breeders Stakes. She has been running with these are nice ladies for a little while now so it was nice to see she can hold her own and finally get a win, earn her title, earn points for Ivy Creek and earn some needed padding for those darn taxes!

Also ran:

[color=blue]Slipshod Brawl(The Fighting Fifty x Bad Girl) 5/9 in and OA at Calder

Only two out both at OA level with a win for 3yo [color=red]Romance N Honour and a 2nd for 4yo [color=red]Sydney Harbour. Both girls are heading back to the farm for a rest.

Wishing everyone Happy Holidays :slight_smile:

Congrats on the stakes win, Vimes!

I had a decent day: 4-2-0-0-0 $66,000

The two wins were nice, since I’ve been spending lots of money trying to expand my herd.

Crosspoint (4yo, Point Given) ran 1st in an OA turf sprint - her third win in a row.  My goal was to get her to Champion status before retiring her to breed, but now that she’s reached that goal, I feel like I’ve finally figured out her preferences and don’t want to stop racing her!

[color=red]Final Gamble (3yo, Highland Wizard) ran 1st in an NW2, her first race for me since I bought her at the Generous Bloodstock auction in November.  She earned back her sale price!

Also ran:
[color=red]Secret Morning (2yo, Government Secret) - 6th/11 in an NW2
[color=red]Vote For Me (4yo, Candidate) - 8th/12 in an OA

Happy holidays!

An OK day for Semiahmoo, not as spectacular as the past few weeks have been but i’m still happy with it. We sent 11 horses out, 6 were 4th or better

Wins
[color=red]Heaven’s Halo (3yo, Ring Of Fire) in an open allowance. Her second win in a row, might have finally figured her out. Hopefully she keeps it up!

[color=blue]GCh. Deep Blue Sea (5yo, I’m Your Angel) in the Townsend Prince Breeders’ Stakes after several months off. Glad he’s still got it!

Places
[color=blue]Your Decision (3yo, I’m Your Angel) in an open allowance after several months off

Shows
[color=blue]Ch. Burn It Down (4yo, Whats Your Point) in the Townsend Prince Breeders’ Stakes behind stablemate Deep Blue Sea. He consistently places/shows in the stakes, never wins :confused:

4ths
[color=blue]Brucejack (2yo, Whats Your Point) in a NW2 allowance

[color=blue]Ch. Criminal Secret (3yo, Foolhardy) in the Gallant Fox

Three more winners, only one runner off the board.

11(7)-3(3)-3(2)-1-3(1) $303,000

Wins
[color=red]G.Ch. Classic Red Line, (3yo, I’m A Classic x A Fine Red Line) 1/10 in the G3 Winter Stakes in Australia. Her 6th win this year, all SW.
[color=blue]Ch. Last Orders, (2yo, Lasting Spirit x In Due Time) 1/11 in the Ung Damon Runyon Stakes at Aqueduct. He earned his “Ch” title with this win.
[color=blue]Ch. Krakatoa, (3yo, Ring of Fire x Last Hope) 1/12 in the Ung Gallant Fox at Aqueduct. Purchased recently at Auction from Vaucluse Farms, he earned most of his purchase price back with this win.

Seconds
[color=blue]Ch. Hogsmeade, (3yo, Highland Magic x Blarneystone Lane) 2/5 in the G1 Townsend Prince Breeders’ Stakes at Aqueduct. He won the first two legs of the Steeplechase Breeders’ Series but unfortunately couldn’t win the championship.
[color=red]wonziT, (2yo, Tiznow x Backwards Image) 2/11 in the Ung Damon Runyon Stakes at Aqueduct.
[color=blue]Moony’s Deal, (2yo, Moonopoly x Deal With It) 2/6 in an OA at Woodbine.

Thirds
[color=blue]Sunset Flight, (2yo, Major’s Flight x Sunset Girl) 3/11 in an NW2 at Aqueduct.

Fourths
[color=red]Vote for Romance, (3yo, Gunningdownromance x Swing Vote) 4/10 in the G3 Winter Stakes in Australia.
[color=blue]Ch. Bet On Octagonal, (3yo, Octagonal x Big Bet) 4/12 in an OA at Aqueduct.
[color=red]Magic Spitfire, (2yo, Magic Glory x Blackout) 4/7 in an NW3 at Aqueduct.

Also Ran
[color=blue]Ch. Londesborough Boy, (4yo, Lasting Spirit x Painted Desert) 11/12 in the Ung Gallant Fox at Aqueduct.

Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year to everybody.

Two 2yo colts out.

[color=blue]Zimbardo finished 2nd/6 in his NW3.

[color=blue]Ch. Aguirre was 9th/11 in Damon Runyon Stakes.

Not our best day, but at least we were 50% on the board:

6(3) - 1 - 0 - 2(1) - 0

WINS

[color=blue]Copycat (2yo, Mr. Prospective x Slew Copy) won his NW2, putting his 2yo record at 12(1) - 2 - 4(1) - 2 - 1.  Not a bad first year!  He’s the second and final foal that we have from his dam, whom we (foolishly) sold - along with the only filly we got from her, of course…  ::)  We still own his 3yo 1/2 brother, GCh. Mimic.  Hopefully he will live up to his legacy next year.

SHOWS

[color=red]Art of Love (2yo, High On Love x Art of Zen) won her NW2, putting her 2yo record at 9 -2-0-2-2.  Not bad, but not as good as I’d hoped.  However, I’m holding on to her as I would love to see her get to the stakes level so I can add a HOL mare to my brood band some day.

[color=red]Ch. D’lightful (4yo, High Chances x D’licious) was 3rd in the G1 Dream Skipper Breeders’ Stakes, putting in a good effort.  She’s had quite the year, with a 4yo record of 12(9)-5(2)-2(2)-2(2)-2(2).  She’s a game little mare, and I sold her dam to someday make room for her in the brood band.  She will run next year.

OFF THE BOARD

GCh. Ducati put in minimal effort, finishing 5th in his OA.  I think he was distracted by the fillies - he seems to do better then less there are in his races.  So frustrating, as he is SO close to his next title (4 pts).  He’s running next year, though, so hopefully he’ll start the new year off with a bang.

Allnighter II ran her first stakes in open company, the ungraded Damon Runyon Stakes, and finished 6th.  Her 2yo record is 11(2)-4(1)-2-3-1.

Ch. Always Ladylike was 6th in the ungraded Gallant Fox in open company.  She didn’t do as well this year as last, so she isn’t far from retirement.  However, I’m hoping to get her to the next title first unless she drastically drops in performance.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Our ponies will be celebrating with extra treats thanks to a spectacular year - they’ve earned it!

And Vimes - a huge congratulations to your win with Peekundercovers.  I didn’t have the vision to see that potential in her, so I am SO happy I sold her to you.  Clearly she is flourishing under your care!
