12/14

Yay, back to the winning circle! Sort of… but it feels like the little crisis is gone.

[color=red]Ch. Akasha won an open allowance steeplechase for fillies. Now that she has a title I hope that she will start running like a pro! And like her pedigree suggests.

2yo [color=red]Tizzy Fit finished 3rd/9 in a maiden for girls. She’s a Tiznow filly and they tend to mature long, so I’m happy that she finishes in the money. Must be her Gold ranked dam. And granddam. And grandgranddam.

[color=red]Send Me Flowers was 2nd in the ungraded Garland of Roses Stakes.

[color=blue]Quarren was 3rd in the AP Indy Breeders Stakes.

7-2-1-0-2 $75,700

A couple nice wins today.

[color=red]Summertime Blonde (5yo, Lonesome Glory) won an OA, her first race since being purchased at auction from Fox Run.  I thought I was going to retire her to breed at the end of 2017, but now I’m not sure!

[color=red]Comedy Queen (3yo, High Chances) won an NW3.

[color=red]Vote For Me (5yo, Candidate), another recent auction purchase from Marshall Creek, placed 2nd in her first race for me, an OA.  Again, this makes the decision on when to retire her to the breeding shed tougher!

On the other hand, [color=red]Pisa No Macallan (4yo, Giant’s Causeway), who placed 4th/6 in an OA, and [color=red]Cabernet (4yo, Giant’s Causeway), who placed 6th/10 in an OA, seem like they’re ready to retire.

Also ran:
[color=red]Firm Kiss (3yo, Harvard Bound) - 4th/10 in an OA
[color=blue]So Naive (3yo, Gunningdownromance) - 6th in an OA

Today we killed it in the Breeders Series! I couldn’t be happier! We sent 9 out (All BS races) came home with 5 wins and 2 seconds, not too shabby.

Wins
[color=blue]Lucky Kiss [2yo, GCh. My Lucky Day] won the Seabiscuit Breeders’ Stakes, his first stakes win. I’m very excited about this boys future.

[color=blue]Ch. Turnpike Wannabe [3yo, ICh. Candidate] won the Bold Ruler Breeders’ Stakes after a bit of time off. This is his 5th stakes win (out of only 6 starts) this season

[color=blue]NCh. Run Jenny Run [4yo, ICh. Whats Your Point] won the A.P. Indy Breeders’ Stakes. He is now a National Champion and recently (I think I forgot to announce??) became stud qualified! making him the first boy out of What’s Your Point to be qualified for stud! I don’t plan to retire him next year, I think he has another season in him

[color=red]Lady Express [2yo, WCh. I’m Your Angel] won the With Approval Breeders’ Stakes, her first stakes win. Very excited about this pretty little filly. I also noticed that with all of I’m Your Angels foals rocking it lately, he is now GOLD RATED!!

[color=red]GCh. Solo Sunset [4yo, War Chant] won the That’s Debatable Breeders’ Stakes, her 5th stakes win this season

Places
[color=blue]Ch. Lumberjack [4yo, WCh. I’m Your Angel] ran closely behind stablemate Run Jenny Run in the A.P. Indy Breeders’ Stakes. This boy was a last minute entry, I couldn’t be happier with him.

[color=red]Ch. Perfect Timing [5yo, A.P. Indy] I bought this gal back in february as a planned broodmare, i’m so glad I kept her running. She continues to impress with a 2nd in the That’s Debatable Breeders’ Stakes behind Solo Sunset. I wonder if she has a 6yo running year in her too??

Also ran was [color=red]Cerridwen who was a very surprising last place, she was doing so well… and [color=blue]Starting Point who can never seem to make up his mind
