Another very good day with 1 G1W and 2 Breeders’ Series winners.

18(13)-4(3)-3(2)-3(2)-0 $932,000

Wins
[color=blue]I.Ch. First Born Son, (4yo, Ring of Fire x What’s That About) 1/10 in the G1 Brisbane Cup in Australia. An amazing year with 9 wins (all G1W), 2 seconds and 1 third in 12 starts, and over $6m in earnings for this year. This was his last race before being retired to stud for next year.
[color=blue]Ch. Calle d’Oro, (2yo, Golden Text x Back Streets) 1/9 in the G2 Planet Hollywood Breeders’ Stakes at Aqueduct. A good all-round year. After finishing 8th in his first race, he never finished out of the first 3 in his other 8 races, including 3 SW, one of which was a G1W.
[color=red]Ch. Sargasso, (2yo, Spock x Secret Signal) 1/11 in the G2 Brandywine Breeders’ Stakes at Aqueduct. She earned her “Ch” title with this win.
[color=red]Ch. Vesuvius, (3yo, Smart Strike x Quietness) 1/6 in an OA at Aqueduct.

Seconds
[color=red]G.Ch. Saucy Magician, (3yo, Magic Glory x Kinda Sassy) 2/9 in the G2 Evening Flame Breeders’ Stakes at Aqueduct.

Also Ran

[color=blue]Ch. Venture His Due, (3yo, Devil His Due x Risky Venture) 9/9 in the G2 What’s It Worth Breeders’ Stakes at Aqueduct.

A very good day here, too.

10(2)-3(1)-4(1)-0-1 $158,950

[color=red]Ch. Celtic Lore (3yo, Highland Bandit) won the Grade 3 Ladies’ Handicap at Aqueduct.  This was her first race for my stable, having purchased her from the recent Fox Run auction, and her first stakes win.  Hoping she will continue to earn back her purchase price - she’s definitely the most expensive horse I’ve bought!

[color=red]Ch. Crosspoint (4yo, Point Given) won her open allowance, and earned her champion status with this race.  I’m planning on retiring her to breed next year, and I was hoping she’d be able to get a Ch in front of her name before that!

Rounding out the wins, [color=red]Secret Morning (2yo, Government Secret) finally broke her maiden (after 4 second place finishes and 11 starts).

[color=blue]GCh. Triomphe (5yo, Magic Glory) ran 2nd in the Grade 3 Belmont Sprint.

[color=blue]Mood Indigo (3yo, All Jazzed Up) ran 2nd in an OA over jumps.

[color=blue]Atlantic Exit (3yo, King David) finished 2nd in an NW3 on dirt.

[color=green]Ch. Dust Collector (4yo, Created) finished 2nd in an OA.
[color=red]
Showmethemagic (3yo, Gimme A Shot) ran 4th in her OA.

Also Ran:

[color=green]Ch. Country Store (4yo, Point Given) - 5th in an OA; for sale for $7,500
[color=red]Mary Grace (3yo, Created) - 6th in an NW3

Today my stakes horses remembered how to race, yay! 5 runs, all were in BS races, 3 wins and a 2nd

Wins
[color=blue]Ch. Naval Commander [3yo, I’m Your Angel] won the What’s It Worth Breeders’ Stakes for his 5th stakes win this season. Love this boy

[color=blue]Ch. Cinnabar [4yo, What’s Your Point] had some time off and it seems to have paid off with a win in the Lonesome Glory Breeders’ Stakes with his stablemate not far behind

[color=red]GCh. Anglesite [4yo, I’m Your Angel] is coming off of 3.5 months rest and pulled off a win in the Ifyoucouldseemenow Breeders’ Stakes. Love this mare!

Places
[color=blue]Ch. Angelius [4yo, I’m Your Angel] impressed me as he hasn’t been running too well lately, with a 2nd in the Lonesome Glory Breeders’ Stakes behind stablemate Cinnabar

A win, finally!

2yo [color=red]Esprit d’Escalier won her NW1 allowance for fillies. She’s my better Holy Bull filly.

2yo [color=red]Hot Gold finished 3rd/7 in her NW2 for 2yo, her first race against the boys.

I… had no idea my horses ran yesterday? How did I miss that???

Five went out and only one finished off the board, which is sweet (except for the off-the-board finisher; he’s shipping home for a looooon vacay). Best performance was by homebred [color=red]Rahy On The Rocks (still loving the @$!^ out of her name, lol), who won an 8f NW3 for 3YO+ fillies & mares, her second career win. Talk about a late bloomer - and a horse that apparently loves the soggy bog.

So… where do I look to see the forecast and what chances of rain there are? Wanna maximize her chances of winning now that she’s figured out how to, :d
