11/14

I think shifting to a slightly different approach in training has helped my kids. Not as “Wow!” as last meet’s results, but still better than what I’ve been getting pre-training change.

[color=blue]Macau ran 2nd/8 in his NW3.
[color=red]Irish Miss was 2nd/13 in her OA.
[color=blue]Rock Stardom was 2nd/9 in his OA.

[color=blue]Paris Song (2yo, A.P. Indy) was 3rd/12 in a NW3.

[color=green]French Riviera went unclaimed in his 30k claimer with a 4th/11 in a OA.
[color=red]A.P. Goodyear managed a 4th/14 in her OA.

And five also-rans including a mare who I’m sure will be heading to the broodmare band next year.

Sent out 9:

WINS:

[color=blue]Dawson’s Rudge (3yo, A.P. Indy) won his NW2, even though he’s unhappy with the equipment.

[color=blue]Mimic (homebred, 2yo, I’m Your Angel) won his NW3, his second win ever, this time on turf.

[color=red]Girlfight (homebred, 3yo, Nightfight) won her OA, earning her second speed record (8f dirt this time).

[color=red]Comedy Queen (homebred, 2yo, High Chances) won, breaking her maiden finally!

[color=red]Mango Frappe (4yo, Sunday Silence) won her NW3, showing she’s still got it.  She went underraced last year (only 2 starts), but did well at 2 also.  Looks to have sustainability, which I like…

[color=blue]Imprimis (homebred, 3yo, King David) won his NW3 over jumps.  He’s consistently in the money, but it’s always nice to see him in the winner’s circle instead.

PLACES:

[color=blue]Bear Witness (2yo, Witness) ran second in his NW3.  The poor fellow hasn’t had a chance to prove himself at the lower levels, so he truly is better than his record would suggest.  We are just getting to know him - watch out, world, because he’s more than meets the eye!

OTHER:

[color=red]Ciao Bella (3yo, Alley Cat) ran a solid 4th in the G3 Turnback the Alarm Stakes against some tough ladies.
[color=blue]Allinvain (homebred, 3yo, Worth My While) was a disappointing 8th in the G3 Stuyvesant Stakes against a who’s who field.

Nice day.
2yo [color=red]Chalula One finally broke her maiden in her seventh race, but she was always in the money. This was an impressive win by 2 3/4 lengths in a full field of 14 horses.
Recently purchased 3yo [color=red]On The Road Again finished 3rd/10 in a maiden.
Created 3yo [color=blue]Click and Play finished 5th/11 in a claimer. He clearly doesn’t like short distance, we’re thinking of steeplechases.
2yo colt [color=blue]Im Your Daddy wasn’t competitive in his maiden, he finished 6th/14

We had a nice day at the races!

We recently purchased [color=green]The Gambler at auction solely because he’s the half-brother of our beloved [color=green]Gambler’s Road. In his first race for us he placed third in an allowance.

[color=blue]Bold Legion won another for us today. He might run in a stakes to close out his year.

Sent out 9 runners, all but two brought home paychecks.

2 Wins
[color=red]GCh. Veiled Dancer, (4yo, Rahy x Fanci Remark) 1/14 in the G3 Turnback the Alarm Stakes at Aqueduct. The points earned from this race qualified her to add the “Grand” to her title. She will have one or two more races before being retired to stud next year.
[color=blue]Ch. Crystal Double, (4yo, Crystal Rainbow x Clear As Crystal) 1/13 in the G3 Stuyvesant Stakes at Aqueduct. The points earned from this race qualified him to add the title “Champion” to his name. He is for sale for $125K.

[color=red]Cathedral ran in 10.0f Allowance for 3yo+ (T) and placed 3rd/7. She has made me so incredibly proud this year!

[color=blue]Gallant Affair ran in 11.5f Allowance for 4yo+ (T) and placed 3rd/6. He’s having a great year too.

[color=blue]Bold Dreams ran in 5.0f NW2 Allowance for 3yo+ (D) and placed 5th/6.
