11/1

Due to restricted time, I only entered three (again):

WINS

[color=red]Ch. Brianza (3yo, Bellagio x Sovereign Song) won her OA.

[color=red]Ch. Allnighter II (3yo, All Jazzed Up x Klondike Nights) won the G3 Athenia Stakes.  She’s headed to Starfish Stables now on free lease (see my offer under the Leases thread).

PLACES

[color=red]GCh. Always Ladylike (5yo, Giant’s Causeway x Always A Lady) was second in the G2 Red Smith Stakes, behind her own stablemate, Zadar, (who has been leased out to Lochiedo).  She’s also headed to Starfish Stables now.

Five out, no wins.

3yo [color=red]Extraordinary finished 2nd/6 in a NW3 allowance. She’s supposed to have a longer rest after her long stay in Australia where she was when we bought her at an auction… but this race was tempting.

3yo [color=blue]Ch. My Toni’s Pride finished 3rd/14 in his open allowance steeplechase. He’s very consistent and I hope that next year he’ll be stronger at stakes level.

2yo [color=red]Vera Cruz finished 3rd/6 in a maiden for 2yo fillies.

2yo [color=red]Doridacea finished 7th/13 in a maiden, in which [color=red]Vanagloria finished 8th.

Congratulations! Zadar’s mom Adriatic Swan is very proud. And his sister Zanahoria too

Hey, maybe he might still be able to reach studhood!  I’m glad he’s gone to Lochiedo where he can be kept active.

Had a better day today. 3 out, all came home with paychecks.

[color=red]Ch. Awesomette (4 YO by Ch. Mr. Townsend x Dixie Chick), who I recently got in the Locheido Stables auction, placed 4th in her 12f Allowance.

[color=red]Three Chances (3 YO by GCh. Steal Your Heart x Three Mississippi), also new to our stable, placed 1st in her 7.5f Allowance. Of her 4 starts, she’s won 2 and showed 2, so I have high hopes for this little girl.

[color=red]Yes It’s An Issue (3 YO by NCh. Yes It’s Paddy x Ch. Debatable Issue) placed 3rd in her 6.5f Maiden. This horse really has been an issue. I’ve been working with her all year, trying to figure her out, so hopefully this isn’t a fluke and actually means I’m finally getting somewhere with this horse.

Glad she ran well for you

With one exception, our 2YO’s continue to run poorly. In fact, even our older horses have been running poorly recently. In the first 9 months of this year, we only had 3 race days when our Earnings less Jockeys Fees was less than our Entry Fees, however, in the last month, we have already had 4 days when that happened.

Wins
[color=blue]Moon Flood, (2yo, Moonopoly) in an NW2.

Seconds
[color=red]Ch. Crimson and Silver, (4yo, Highland Laird) in an OA.
[color=blue]Gaudy Night, (3yo, Prince of Wonder) in an OA.

Thirds
[color=blue]Ch. Saint Patrick, (3yo, Yes It’s Paddy) in the G1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

Despite not having to prep our horses for their races this week we’re very happy!

Our first horse out was [color=green]Chester and he came home with a 3rd.

Our second horse out was [color=red]Lointaine from Clicker Lab who brought home her first win! We’re not breaking out the bubbly yet though, our ultimate goal is Mult. Winner so  we’ll have to wait and see what this mare does in her next race. We’re very proud of her

Congrats!
