Was expecting more from some, but can’t really complain over 5 Breeders’ Cup winners! Shout-out to our first crop stallions being represented this year: Gabrielle (Fivel) owned by Denoux Stud won the G1 Juvenile Fillies, Candy Charm (Honeydukes) on lease to us ran 3rd in the G1 Juvenile Fillies, and homebred Unquiet Grave (Local Haunt) was 2nd in the G1 Juvenile. Local Haunt’s half sister also ran 3rd in the G1 SC Distaff Endurance. And while not a first crop sire, shout-out to National Velvet (Nobly Regal) a homebred now owned by Denoux Stud who ran 2nd in the G1 SC Distaff.

Phew today was a big day! This year is definitely the most we’ve sent out for the Breeders’ Cup, and while we were hoping for better from some, we had others do unexpectedly well! Shout out to our homebred GCh. Undertow who won the SC Distaff Endurance (& earned her GCh. title!), now owned by Black Storm West. We’re really excited for Castledaccia, who is 4 for 4 this year and will definitely concentrate on the stakes the rest of the year.
