Highlight was [color=blue]Quarren (5yo Sadlers Wells) winning the Grade 1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, his 14th career stakes win This is his final year on the track before retiring to the shed. Undecided as yet whether he’ll tackle the BC but he will most likely finish off in the Breeder’s Series races.
[color=red]Cat Fight (3yo Nightfight) won her NW2. She seems to like longer distance. Maybe a jumper of the future.
[color=red]Oryx (4yo Highland Bandit) won her SA after a break. Probably likely to head back to OA company next.
5yos [color=red]High Expectations (Double Cross) and [color=red]Sydney Harbour (High Chances) both finished 2nd in their respective OAs. They’ll both be retiring to brood at the end of the year but it’s nice to see them still running well.

It may be too early to start cheering but it looks like our horses are starting to run back into form after a few weeks of sub-par performances. 3 wins, including 2 G1W, and only 2 out of 14 runners did not bring home a paycheck. The best thing is that most of our Breeders’ Cup hopefuls who ran today performed well.
