While my broodmares continue their holidays (I think there are four overdue now!)…

Homebred [color=red]Lile finished 2nd/10 in NW1 and she still remains a maiden, but hopefully starts to run more seriously. Her dam was best as a 3yo.

And I claimed a lovely 3yo filly [color=red]As You Rise (by WCh. As You Wish out of Ch. Reveille / War Admiral). As You Wish is one of my favourite stallions and Ch. Reveille is a millionaire half sister to our colt GCh. Space Chips (and also to NCh. Call To War). She finished 2nd/6 in the claimer.

Five out and picked up a homebred that we sold in utero in a claimer.

Highlights were two homebred winners: [color=blue]Reign Of Terror (3yo Nightfight) won his NW2. He’s the first and, so far, only living foal from our starter mare Mayhem. He won on his 2yo debut and then had a long break due to being a fairly late baby - lovely to see him run so well today. His paternal half-sister [color=red]Somekindawonderful (3yo Nightfight) won her NW1. These two were born within a few days of each other and broke their maidens on the same day last year

A decent day with 9 out and 7 OTB

This was my first race day in a couple of months. Holidays, home renovations, and enrolling my toddler in school really took a bite out of me!  But it was a good day!

Starter gelding [color=green]Nom de Plume finally broke his maiden in a maiden race.

[color=red]Magic Maxine and [color=green]Gotta Sin placed first and second respectively in a NW3 over fences.
