Despite the loss CDS recently suffered the show must go on.  We are pleased to announce a successful race day.

Wildcat Wishes (As You Wish x Alaskan Wildcat) won the G1 Sunshine Millions Sprint while Ivy Creek leasee and stablemate, V is for Valiant, finished close behind in 2nd.

Scotch Highball (Ich. Witness x Highland Madonna), also an Ivy Creek leasee, won the G1 Barretts Stake.

Blue Skies At Night (Nightfight x I’m Not Blue) and Spock Jr. (Spock x Gilttogo) finished 2nd in their allowances.

I am particularly pleased with Indigo Rain’s win as he had only one race in 2017 and has not run since. I expected him to trail in last but he won easily and has already won back his purchase price and basic tax.
I noticed that there were 3 of Darkwood’s new stallion [color=blue]WCh. Crystal Rainbows’ foals that won today straight from the Clover Springs auction - [color=blue]Indigo Rain, [color=blue]Sparkling Edward and[color=red] Lonesome Dove, as well as [color=blue]Sand Castle and[color=red] Bella Notta who were not in the auction. I look forward to seeing how his foals progress now more of them will be raced regularly!

While Lonesome Dove is a CR daughter, I bought her privately as a 2yo. :wink:

Congrats on Bella Notta’s win - it was tough to sell her but I hope she does well for you, Paul.
