Once again our Stakes runners disappointed. I need to learn to resist the temptation to enter our horses in Stakes races, but, when you have a horse that has won or placed 2nd or 3rd in each of their last few non-Stakes races, it seems only fair to try them against the big boys or girls. Besides, with more than half of our active runners qualified for Allowance races or above only, it is harder to find Allowance races for all of them.

I find myself when they come in for a spell if the next available race is overseas (away from Aus) I just ship them there in they have they campaign over there.
Otherwise I’d have too many horses sitting around not getting raced.
I’m always trying to test them in harder races till they find their level.
