Disappointing day. The Pegasus World Cup was going to be the last races for both Ablative Armour and Fool to be Smokin’ and we were hoping that one or both of them would end their racing careers with a bang. Sadly, they finished last and second to last, although they were only 6 lengths behind the winner (Congratulations to Shelbie for Local Haunt’s win). Anyway, both Ablative Armour and Fool to be Smokin’ have been Retired to Stud, so anybody who had made a reservation to them can go ahead and breed their mares whenever they are ready…
