[color=red]Ch. Flaming Text, (3yo, Golden Text) in the G3 Mr. Prospector Handicap. Her 4th win (including 3 SW) in her last 5 starts, she could be one of our Classic hopefuls this year.
[color=blue]Ch. Risky Romance, (3yo, Gunningdownromance) in an OA. He won his first two races last year as a 2YO, both SW, but failed to hit the Winners Circle again the rest of the year. Hopefully this will be the start of something big for him. He has some mighty big shoes to fill, as one of his older siblings ([color=blue]Away The Lads) is Stud-Qualified, and another one ([color=blue]No Guts No Glory) only needs one more SW to join him.

Ponies running a bit better this week

[color=blue]Cut Glass (3yo Unabridged) finally broke his maiden after running promisingly as a 2yo. Really hoping he continues to improve.
Really pleased with [color=red]Fool on the Hill’s (3yo, Foolhardy) second in the  5.5f Turf Gr. 3 HDF McNeil Stakes. Hope it continues as so many successful 2yos seem to fade as soon as they reach their 3yo year.
[color=blue]High’n’Wild (4yo High on Love) also managed a respectable second. I rather overlooked this horse last year, I’m sure he could have done better if I’d paid him more attention.
[color=blue]Tintagel (3yo Gilded Saint) second in his NW1. Can’t quite figure this one out.He was all over the place last year. here’s hoping for some consistency!
[color=red]Dark Crown (3yo Void) third in her OA. Had a very good start as a 2yo.tried in stakes races and these seemed to be too big a step up for her. Back now to allowance races where she seems to be happier.
Double Top (4yo Double Cross) continues to disappoint. third in her NW3 she is still a maiden. Will be given a couple more races to see how she goes and then try SC if no improvement. Some ponies are real no-hopers and I fear she is one of them
Sea Magic (4yo Highland Wizard) also a maiden 4yo. third in his NW3 allowance. However his Dam Sailor Venus, had her best year as a 4yo so I hope he may follow suit.
