Sleeplessinseattle led me to Tom Hanks, Tom Hanks + Ring of Fire led me to Joe Versus the Volcano, and the wikipedia article on it with plot summary led me to Flibbertigibbet. 
I’m amazed no one’s used that name before, though.

Sorry to hear about Bitter Sweet. I’ve got a daughter of hers so I’m hoping she passes on her abilities on the track and breeding wise down her line! Her foal is lovely though - gorgeous name!

Mare death is not linked to due date and the accuracy thereof. It’s a completely random chance for each breeding.

i check everyday even tho my first isnt due til the 31st , lol, then april/may and then the rest of the summer with most end of july/aug. i hate waiting. at least i get to see everyone’s pretty babies in the mean time
I know, , still just makes me squirm a little. And, yes, the filly looks wonderful so yay for that at least.
