On average, yes. No idea how it exactly works IRL but in-game the due date is skewed earlier for fillies and later for colts. (Given horses and their unpredictability, that’s probably close to real life, actually.

To clarify: by “due date” above I meant the actual foaling date. The “due date” on the mare’s page is literally a random number between (I think) 335 and 355 day gestation, so it can have no bearing on reality with the mare. Plus mares can foal up to 3 weeks early and 3 weeks late (based on usual gestation time). Because mares, haha.

Oh that I’ve known. I had a February mare already drop two weeks ago, and last year I had a mare 5 weeks late. Just didn’t know about the colts vs. fillies.
