They are all set. I gave Abalone, Classy Broad & Erin Reid July 1 slots, and Demurely & Best Gal August 1 slots. In addition, I removed the fees for Abalone (because of her stillborn) and Demurely (30th mare bred to a Starfish stallion).

I tried to set up the bookings for your mares but cannot get down to the “Set up Breedings” button on any of my stallions pages. I have reported it to Shanthi and, as soon as the problem is fixed, I will set them up for you. In the meantime, I have pencilled them all in, as follows:-

I’m No Fool only has 2 Aug 2 slots left and I have given you one of them for Void of Colors. I have also given you a 50% discount because of the number of mares you have sent to our stallions and will give you the same discount for any others you may decide to send.

You’ve always made it easy with the availability of your roster.

I’ve got 7 stallions stuck 1 win away from stud qualification and another 10 on 5 wins, sure is hard to get them stud qualified!

I know what you mean. It often seems to be easy to get them the first 5 or 6 SW’s but, getting them over the line to stud-qualification, not so much.

I had a few years where it seemed like I was churning out stud-qualified stallions at an alarming rate of knots, but in recent years, it seems like I can’t buy a 7th SW for any of my potential qualifiers. There have been a number of our horses that have got to 5 or 6 SW and they suddenly decide that they aren’t going to win anymore races. I’ve tried racing them frequently (pretty much as soon as they got to A-A in Fitness and Energy), to giving them long breaks between races (3-4 weeks), to sending them back to the Farm for a break between races, to switching them between Turf and Dirt races (and, in a couple of cases, switching them to SC), without any success and I’ve ended up retiring them. This part of the game can be so frustrating, especially when you have a horse that is a special favorite and you’ve got him so close to qualification and can’t get him over the line. I guess if it was always easy, there’d probably be more stud-qualified stallions in the game than racehorses.

I gave As Promised and Red Alycatta Aug 1 slots as requested because, since they have only just foaled in the last couple of days, they won’t be able to be bred until early August. I gave Case and Point an Aug 2 slot which was the earliest slot that Lucky Streak has available. I have given you the discounts for all three.
