On a sad note, we have to announce the passing of Retired Broodmare, Lucky Lucky Lady at 21. Lucky was a grey mare by Created out of Watagan Opal.
As a racehorse, she had an undistinguished career with 1 win in 9 races. However, she excelled as a Broodmare. All 11 of her foals were winners, 8 of them went on to be Stakes winners, with 3 of those being multiple Stakes winners and Millionaires. Her progeny earned an average of just under $720K. She had a breeding ranking of Gold (8.7) and was a Reine-de-Course (I/C).
Three of her daughters have gone on to the Breeding Sheds, with one of them, GCh. Lupe Valez, already having a Breeding Ranking of Silver (8.0) and is currently a Reine-de-Course (B/I).
{color=red]Lucky[/color] was Retired due to injury in FF 2019 and had been enjoying her retirement at the Farm.
