Hey Shanthi i entered Smokin’ into an allowance and I didn’t realize the extent of her over qualification till I looked at the post parade. It was actually a NW2 allowance and she has 8 wins. I’ve tried scratching her a few times but all i’m getting is this message…

get others: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘’ at line 2

She was still in the race after a few attempts at this. Just wanted to let ya know…there’s no rush or anything cause these were next Saturdays races anyway. :slight_smile:

Check and see if your entry fee got refunded…

I had a situation similar to this where it refunded my entry fee (and appeared to have scratched as in no errors but then when it reloaded the page the horse was still in the race) and got that error when I tried to scratch it again. Just want to see if this is the same problem.

okay I just checked my budget and it doesn’t even say that i had entered her. So I’m thinking the code allowed her to be entered but it didn’t recognize it as a legal entry and didnt’ deduct any money or refunded any money when I attemted to scratch her.

When it refunds your entry all it does is delete the transaction (and then edit your current balance to give back your money).

So the fact that your budget page says you didn’t enter means that you did get your money refunded.
