In maybe our saddest unexpected retirement, Raise A Fleet has been put out to pasture at 16. She’s been an incredible mare with only 8 foals on the ground, a Gold ranking and a Reine de Course (B/I) ranking made her a standout in our barn. Her only sons were game owned until they were very mature are were both lightly raced, but luckily her daughters are all owned by stables and continue to carry on being lovely.

Have you read Susannah Kearsley? A lot of her books deal with the Jacobites.
I love the series and hope they make a few more seasons before they even ponder cancelling it! I love the history it illistrates as well!!
It’s in my watch list. You’ve all reminded me I need to watch it! We had a family holiday to Scotland every year when I was a kid. I’d love to go back.
