Naming Contest

Hey All,
I have decided to do a contest on naming my filly by War Admiral out of First Chance.  She is a Bay with a blaze.  Here is her link finalfurlong.org/viewhorse.php?horse=8480

Whose ever name i pick will get a free foal out of her once I breed her or maybe a possible free lease for a year once she is retired to brood mare status.

Please think of original names.  This contest is open from now (2-11) until 3-11 s you have a month to think of creative names for her.

If so, the first name that comes to mind from the sire/dam is A Fighting Chance (or just Fighting Chance).

How about Horatia…it is the name of the daughter of Admiral Lord Nelson. It was through a secret marrage and was never full made tru…a lover in other country…neet story!

Well I went with a war theme  :wink:

  • Arbela (famous battle fought by Alexander the Great)

  • Morrigan (Celtic goddess of war. Name means Great Queen or Phantom Queen)

  • Molly Pitcher (legendary figure, she supposedly took her husbands place in the American Revolution after he was killed)

  • Jewels of War

  • Imperial War

they also had a show on the history channel about it i think it was an hour long, i guess when the invaders were gaining on them , the women comitted suicide rather than being captured again (you could prob find it on the history channel site)

Wow! Sorry it took me sooooo long to pick out a name but the winner is Molly Pitcher submitted by Fleet Feet Thoroughbreds.  We can tlak later once she races and then you can either lease her as a broodmare or just have a baby.  let me know
