Just happened to notice this and though it’s not a big deal I wanted to mention it so it can find a place on the ‘someday’ list for the new app.
My horse Play On Words unfortunately got injured on 2026-04-21 (yesterday) according to their horse page on the new app. I noticed when I was clicking around, but I have no alert on my stable page (neither on the old app, nor on the new). I think those alerts got lost in the move to the new app somewhere.
I just noticed at the top of my page that I have the icon of a bell, with a little “1” by it. When I clicked on the bell, it gave me a pop up message that one of my broodmares had been retired.
Maybe that is how we’ll get notifications of things like injuries too? Also Pending Breedings, New Foals, etc, Alerts that we would have received in our Stable Alerts on our Stable Page.
Right now stuff that’s for an individual horse are in the bell icon. I need to figure out a good balance, though, because you could get 500 individual notifications if it gets out of hand.
Just like emails. I tell people that I no longer get emails, I get Hydra Mail (from mythology). Every time I delete one, two more pop up in it’s place.
Just checked, I didn’t get notified through the bell icon either. So as far as I know I didn’t get any notification.
